Hello everyone!

As many of you know, recent developments affecting other anime streaming sites have reinforced the importance of ensuring the long-term stability and future of OS. In response, our staff has been working diligently to strengthen both the Beta platform and the mobile app.

While we remain committed to making continuous improvements, we also need to take important steps to secure the future of OS as a whole.

With that in mind, we would like to announce that the Legacy site will be archived and our mobile app will officially launch on June 12th. We are providing advance notice to give everyone time to complete any remaining activities or tasks they wish to do on the Legacy platform before the transition.

We understand that this is a significant change, and we know many members of our community have a strong connection to the Legacy site. We are incredibly grateful for your support and understanding. However, to ensure that OS remains sustainable, secure and continues to grow, this transition is a necessary step forward.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support us, to our donors for helping keep the site alive, and to our staff members who generously volunteer their time and effort to serve this community.

Hi... greetings...

So... I suppose Im one of those with strong rapport to the legacy site, since I never really used the beta site. Ive been using OS intermitently since 2013 or 2014, I think, and I really apreciate it and all the effort put into it by the staff and everyone. I hope the new beta site lives up to the fond times I spent on the legacy one. Just arrived since I got today an 404 not found on the old site :( otherwise Id actually keep using it rsrsrsrs....

The real reason for this repply is to ask about the aforementioned "recent developments" on anime streaming sites, if you dont mind. I mean, I suppose I know vaguely what is meant, since OS is my main recourse to watch animes, but naturally not the only one. It is though the only one that has remained active for all these years and doesnt restrain my usage based on IP or what do I know...

Anyway Id really apreciate if someone could elaborate on those recent developments.

yours truly...
