I listen to sad music... like moonlight sonata or adagio for strings.
I haven't been sad for a long time but...I would watch some anime.
I used to hang out with friends or play PC games and just have fun.
Depends on why I'm sad.
Usually listen to sad-ish music, that isn't really sad, but still..
Or just lay down on my bed, thinking and all.
Or cry.. Some reason, I kinda like crying. I don't know, it calms my heart.

hmmm... cut myself w/ a toy knife...hehehehehe
ALL HAIL OS~!!

I actually have a "calm down" song which I listen to to feel better. It's Duvet by BoA
Isn't it fine to say that we are loved?
To be bound, so the world may never but touch
Isn't this, too, just fate, and nothing more?
Fade away, fade away, I say to a love...
I just wandering around, or in being solitude and walking somewhere.
Super Smash Bros Brawl, beating the absolute snot out of Pit with Ike makes me feel much better.
Also my happiness scale goes from 0 to 9000 whenever i kill someone with my bat in TF2. 9001 if its a heavy (in before over 9000).
Or, I listen to my favorite Motivational Song, 'Dare' - Stan Bush
Hm... music seems to be a very popular escape from sadness amongst you guys =D
As for myself: Yes music is in there as well, something either calm or beautiful... better yet, both! =D Asides from music I try to figure out what went wrong and where and try to avoid it in the future, of course in my solitude ^^;
Hearing to some musics if there's people around...if not play the piano or drawing...
if there aren't people around, I will go to my room and cry...don't know why, even if I'm only a little sad, tears will fall from my eyes...=_="

i havent been sad for 14 years, i feel down not sad, and they're not the same thing.
i walk.. when i feel depressed, sad or down
I run with my ipod or call one of my friends and talk about how crappy my day was.

Hmm, really depends on what is causing sadness and if I really can afford to wallow being sad for a while, haha. If just down could be watching something funny, or listening to catchy music or perhaps if I want to release frustration physical activity and rage music. If just feeling off will listen to eclectic mix of mellow and upbeat music while writing.
Also cooking is pretty good way to feel better, baking bread is especially satisfying (though tend to beat up the dough instead of kneading it ;)
