A flyer included with NisiOisin's Nekomonogatari light novel has announced on Wednesday that production on a third NisiOisin anime project, Kizumonogatari, has been green-lit. This will be the latest NisiOisin work to be animated after Bakemonogatari and Katanagatari. The one-volume Kizumonogatari story is a prequel to the Bakemonogatari light novel
