As the title says, this is a tutorial for photo retouching with the use of the HEALING BRUSH, SPOT HEALING & BRUSH TOOL.
Everything that I'll be sharing here is how I use the said tools...there are many ways to improve or retouch an image. All of the said tools have different outcome when used so I'll just introduce to everyone how I use it to retouch an image.
The image below shows the before and after of the editing process I did with the use of the brush tool. (Notice how the text was erased from the image without ruining certain parts of the image.)
The BRUSH tool

Basically its like you're redrawing and tracing some parts using the brush tool.
*Reminder: For first timers, you might have hard time rebrushing and redrawing certain parts as it may appear as if it doesn't blend well with the whole image, do not be discouraged XD just keep on trying every color scheme near the certain part of the image (using the eyedropper) for you to see which of them would blend well.
So here is the zoomed-in image of the transition after using the brush tool (with soft round brush) to cover up the unwanted texts then using the brush tool (with hard round brush) again to redraw the outline and some parts of the image.
The SPOT HEALING tool
If you only need to fix small imperfections in your photograph then the Spot Healing Brush Tool is great for some quick alterations. With this tool you don’t need to specify a sample spot, simply dab it on the area you want to fix and it will automatically paint over the area a sample from around the retouched area. Of course, this tool isn’t that great if you are retouching an image with intricate details, but it will make light work out of small skin blemishes and dust-ridden skies.

Spoiler :
The HEALING BRUSH tool
The Healing Brush lets you correct imperfections in your shot in a similar way to the Clone Stamp Tool. Like the Clone Stamp Tool, you paint with sampled pixels from your image which you can set with the ‘Alt’ button, however, the Healing Brush Tool also does an excellent job of matching together all of the relevant shades and textures to keep your fixes as seamless as possible. This tool is far more effective than slaving away with the Clone Stamp Tool as it will take a lot of the effort out of accurate blending, however it still requires you to be responsive with your Alt-key selections.
