Lightbulb Your Top 3 Vintage Classic Anime List, pls!

    Hey everyone!

I'm updating my anime watch list today and was wondering what top 3 classic vintage anime you'd recommend someone to watch. The criteria for "vintage" is the anime has to be at least 30 years old (from the 1990s or older) and "classic" meaning it's so good to watch you'd watch it again or it was really popular when it came out.

    Mine are:

    1. Haha wo Tazunete Sanzenri - Touching adventure story
    2. Cyber City Oedo 808 - Cyberpunk done p. well
    3. Lupin III: Cagliostro no Shiro - A hidden Hayao Miyazaki feature length gem

    Honorable mention:
    * H2 - Coming of age baseball story
    * Akira - A must see for anyone who loves film
    * Urusei Yatsura - Comedy about a female extraterrestrial who falls in love with a womanizing boy

But also, I'm beginning to think I just love old anime XD so please send me your suggestions!

*Clean vs dirty is a very subjective matter. But I think, without anything more explicit than sucking on a finger, this is about as wholesome as the genre can get.

(sorry, I haven't been around so long as to find older series that I have watched) But, as an older movie, there is https://otaku-streamers.com/info/3549/Vampire_Hunter_D ...

Yuyu Hakusho is a classic beyond belief! I remembered when I was a kid, I shout along with Yuuske (Eugene in the Philippines) when he fires his signature move hahaha! The memories!

    Hey there
    Some good titles here!
If you're looking for classics from 90's or earlier I would strongly recommend Evangelion and RahXephon
Personally I also like the old shounen vibe of the 80's, like Hokuto no Ken, Jojo's, Saint Seiya (nice long series ^^)
No one mentionned Dragon Ball, but the original series (first part of the manga is also a must-see in my opinion). The thing is not to get lost with the never-ending sequels x) (Z, GT, Kai, S.... @[email protected])
Digimon and Yugi oh were my classics when I was a kid
Choosing is hard but I would probably go for:
    1.Evangelion
    2.Cowboy Bebop
    3.RahXephon
(If we consider that Wolf's Rain is too recent, although it looks like a vintage anime ^^)

Edit: The manga is a lot better, but Dragon Quest: Dai no Daibouken (although we can't find the full original series here), is clearly in my list of recommendations
And I've been wanting to rewatch the Ranma 1/2 series, I hope it's still as fun as when I was 9 xD
