Unhappy Well, I don't think I've posted before.

I just got admitted into the hospital, and I forgot to bring headphones, so I'm posting. My blood sugar levels were at 700 yesterday, which was found out in some "just to be sure" blood testing due to a thyroid condition that I already have. Anyway if you don't know the dangerous blood sugar is 300. anyway, just ask me general questions or something. I'll post updates on my situation.

Welcome to the OS family, Rasputin. Sorry to see that you've been hospitalized. What made your blood sugar levels reach that level?

I'm sorry to read something like that. What have they been telling you to do/prepare for as for as health recommendations & changes are concerned?

New diet, I'm getting an epipen and a gluclometer, also this is my second night in the hospital. I'm incredibly homesick.

Let me know if you would like any recommendations you can follow. I have a little bit of experience in alternative medicine as far as dietary habits go. How long do they plan on keeping you in the hospital?

Well, I've been in here since tuesday, and its thursday. I should be leaving in about an hour ago (They said I'd be out by noon.) Also, I don't think I can do much in the way of alternative medicine because I've been diagnosed with type 1, where my pancreas doesn't produce any insulin. Hopefully I get out soon.
