IDM or Orbit Downloader?

How are you today? I'm fine. I hope you are fine too.

I will discuss about two best downloader now. IDM [Internet Download Manager and Orbit Downloader.

Do you know about them? or at least one of them?
What do you like? Why?

I am used to using IDM. Its resumeable and speed are awesome, not too much bugs and errors.

How about you?

I also use IDM, I also use Orbit downloader sometimes , But more often i use uTorrent

I uses IDM too but it kinda annoys me when you have to get the new version of IDM if your browser updates. (I uses Mozilla Firefox as my default web browser)

-yeah i use Torrent too if i could not find a direct download.

I've used Orbit Downloader already, more than a yr back I can't remember much just that I didn't like it. I also tried DAP (download accelerator plus) didn't like that either. I started using IDM first and always liked it, but I think I have tried almost every popular downloader there is out there, utorrent, bitcomet, jdownloader, mipony when I was actively uploading anime. I had my secrets with torrents but I like IDM especially for the resume, scheduler, and refresh address. The only feature I wish they'd add already is a preview for videos.

Here's a tip for persons reading this post, with IDM you can play the video even before it's finished downloading:-
Go into Appdata>Roaming>IDM>Dwnldata>(username)>now modify by date, open random folder name and open with vlc.

I am using IDM(Internet Download Manager) Well I work for me really well it has all the function that i needed so i got no complaint what so ever

I use FDM for regular non torrent downloads.

I prefer it over IDM because its free for all the features plus I kinda got used to it's interface already lol. Free Download Manager(FDM) is kinda similar to IDM

I use µtorrent for torrent downloading and for youtube video downloading I use video download helper (addon) for firefox.

My friend introduce me to IDM and now I'm using it for direct download. I'm only using IDM for downloading long running anime series. And what I like about it is its fast. But mostly I use utorrent since it's more convenient to use and you can just leave it around.

I suggest you use IDM. It's the downloading speed is faster than any video downloader also it can hold multiple downloads at the same time. What's more is IDM have this Download Panel which catches most of the videos in the internet. You can also use it for multiple purposes like downloading audio files, game files, and more. And also in IDM, you can pause and resume your downloads without restarting it. I also suggest that if you're gonna download big files like game installers, etc. , use µtorrent. I can give you some tips about IDMs and µtorrent , just ask me anytime :D

I use IDM to grab a website or to download videos and links for example, whenever I watch some anime videos from otakustreamers a module appeared near the player of the video your watching, it said "Download videos from this page"

~Resume Download Capability (refresh link address also)
~Site Grabber (Yes, it can download websites, like Teleport and Offline Explorer)
~Prioritize Download Speed
~It can Import/Export file. (Important Stuff- if you want to take your download to other place and use a PC there and it has IDM- you can import all your exported downloads and download there- Good Stuff for people who wants to get the file/video/music/program they want with super fast internet speed by using faster internet sources~~
~Toolbar can be changed (Yes, like Winrar: here the link http://www.internetdownloadmanager.c.../toolbar2.html)

~Easy way to download videos and stuff (with options to what version are you going to download)



Cons
~I have none actually. For people who complain, I think there is nothing wrong with IDM, scanning it with a Rootkit scanner doesn't show anything at all. (I'm using lots of Security/System Monitoring Softwares)

On Linux. If I want to torrent I use Azureus. If I want a stream, I screen record it with simplescreenrecorder.

been rocking IDM ever since my prof introduce me to it .. never had any problems with it but the only this it annoys me is that every media i iclick it always prompted me to if i want to dl that file ... but still i love it cause i can download a batch files and leave it till it's finished ...
