Maybe I want ti re-live one of the most coolest experiences of my life.

Isn't it the truth that seems the most suspicious?

For some i think its because they didn't understand the anime that much and for me i guess i just to bring back those good old scenes and to relieve the feeling in watching that anime

We Re-watch Anime often cause we like the Story or something in it...
We can't forget about some parts that are most memorable to us...

    Like True Love...

Well for me I only re-watch an anime if I don't remember some parts or if I just simply miss watching the anime

I watch anime for my entertainment, but I have a standard. So, while I wait for new quality anime, re-watching favorites is a necessity. Also, Maria-sama ga Miteru is a good example of another issue; there's never, ever been an anime like it and there probably never will be. I will probably re-watch it forever. That is also why if I have a favorite, I buy it as soon as possible...

I guess because of missing the scenes and the feeling when I watch it. ^^
Enjoy the little things in life..for one day you'll look back and realize they were the big things.

I can't stand it anymore. I've been watching this thread since February hoping that another Moderator would correct the grammar in the thread title, but no one has stepped up to the plate. Therefore, I've changed it from "Why do we still "Re-watching" some anime??" to "Why do we re-watch anime?" for obvious reasons.

On-topic: I don't re-watch anime that often. The primary reason is that once I've watched an anime I know how it goes. The dialogue, the animation, the actions of the characters, and so forth all become expected elements. Occasionally I'll stumble across a series that simply blows me away, but generally speaking I'm happy to watch something once and move on.

I don't usually re-watch anime because I already know what's going to happen. If I do re-watch an anime, it's because:

    1) I've seen it when I was very young, and I want to watch it again for nostalgia and to fully understand the plot.
    2) There's a certain scene that I loved and just feel like re-watching.
    3) It's an anime where the plot only extends for one episode, so I can just watch a couple of episodes without going into the story too much to kill time! (For example, many slice-of-life comedies do this)

Because I'm picky about anime genre and once I found totally suit my taste with good story plot, I hardly can forgot it. Yearning to watch this type good anime but other series seem no good as I already watch. Therefor, I tend to re-watch couple of anime series that I love the story and EVERYTHING about it.
