The last book I read is "Digital Fortress" by Dan Brown, I am currently reading "Deception Point" by the same author.

Digital Fortress is a very interesting book in many ways, it full of chilling elements of the darker side of reality. The fact that no internet activity is ever as subtle and discreet as one might think, there is always this watchfull eye looking over your shoulder.
The story revolves around a young couple (Susan Fletcher and David Becker) Susan being The NSA's Head Cryptographer, and the story's lead character. And David A Professor of Modern Languages and the fiancé of Susan Fletcher.

Like any other thriller novel their peaceful life together quickly changes when Susan gets a call from the NSA, a problem has occured with their code breaking super computer "TRANSLTR" takes unexpectedly long time to break a code. After some build up of drama etc. it is revealed that the code stopping TRANSLTR was made by an old employee of NSA - Ensei Tankado. He wrote this code (Encryption program) to stop NSA from poking around in peoples private E-mails and other things one might want to keep private.
Ensei Tankado was fired by NSA for being against their intrusive behavior, he meant the privacy of internet comunication should not be broken. Ensei just happens to have given NSA an ultimatum. Stop TRANSLTR or the code will be released to the internet for free. Effectively holding NSA hostage, he also claims to have a partner ready to release the code if he dies (To stop any attempt at assassinating him).
When Ensei dies from what appears to be heart attack, Susans boss "Strathmore" decides to send David Becker to Seville Spain where Ensei died. His assignment is to retrieve a ring Ensei was wearing which has the solution to the code engraved in it, this is of course complicated further when he finds out that Ensei's last act was to pass the ring off to one of the bystanders who witnessed his death. And so a frantic chase for the ring takes place, all the while the assassin that killed Ensei is chasing David, as he too was paid to kill Ensei and retrieve the ring. (This involves a Japanese technology company and is way too in depth for a short review).

I had a very good time reading this book, many climactic chapters leading up to some surprising plot twists and betrayals. This book portrays what people can do in desperate situations, and just how much the smallest details can mean.
It is definately worth the time to read, my favourite part of the book is when the assassin "Hulohot" is chasing David through the streets of Santa Cruz. It is no doubt the most exciting and intense part of the book, READ IT NOW! :D

I haven't been reading books for a while now but the last one I finished about a few days ago was titled "The Secret History of the World" it was by Jonathan Black. It's Dan Brown's non-fictional reference for the "Lost Symbol" It's a book with the beliefs of how the world was built and it is thought by esoteric societies such as the Rosicrucians, Freemasons, and lots more.

Well, the book discusses esoterism, mysticism, and theology.. Lots of technical stuff but you'll see how the world was weaved by Gods, Angels, Mystics, Humans, ideas, etc.. There are lots of knowledgeable references in the book. I've learned a lot regarding holy texts and what they really meant, it also has mythology.. Big names of people that made history, secret societies and more.

I suggest you give a book a try if you're into the stuff most people have never imagined would ever think about, but if you're a conservative theologist and don't like conspiracy theories and or theosophy. This book has opened my eyes and makes me see the things i've never thought was real. I see signs everywhere I go. It's terrifying but it's so amazing. I'll give it a read again to completely comprehend this book.

I used to LOVE that series when I was a kid!!!

The last book I read..... Insignia by S. J. Kincaid. It's an awesome YA read about war and technology, including a type of system called a Neural Processor, which is like a computer in your brain. It's an awesome book. I highly recommend it.
