According to the latest issue of Weekly Shounen Sunday, a new 「Zettai Karen Children」 anime project has been green-lit for production. It is one of seven new projects commemorating the 7th anniversary of Shiina Takashi’s original manga series. Additional details will be revealed in future issues of the magazine.
The first Zettai Karen Children TV anime series ran from April 6th, 2008 to March 29th, 2009 — consisting of 51 episodes.
*Synopsis:
In the future, people with ESP are becoming more widespread. The Japanese government has hired three of the most powerful espers in Japan to work for B.A.B.E.L. (Base of Backing ESP Laboratory), but all three are ten year old girls with questionable attitudes.
According to this year’s 33rd issue of Weekly Shounen Jump magazine, a new animated film based off Toriyama Akira’s manga series, 「Dragonball」, is currently in production. A countdown site was also launched in promotion for the new project.
Manga News reports that original manga author, Toriyama Akira, is deeply involved for the first time in the anime series. They also mention a possible premiere date of March 30th, 2013.
