This poll is to determine how well Calzones do when compared to Pizza. I feel like if I just made this Calzones vs. Pizza it would obviously be in favor of pizza, so will instead ask how well you think it does against pizza, with varying levels of approval. There will, of course, be an option one can choose if they have never tried a calzone.

Calzones are alright... but I think Pizza has a better ratio of ingredients. At least for my tastes!

Gonna say that Calzones are just as good, but it really depends on how they're prepared.
You can't just fold a pizza in half and call it a calzone (looking at you Little Caesar's). Calzones are like omelets to scrambled eggs: similar, but not the same, yet using the same ingredients.

As long as the cook doesn't skimp on the topping, calzone is better, IMHO. There's more of the soft dough inside the crust than you get with a regular pie. I like the soft part; no crispy/thin crust for me.

The ricotta cheese is the big difference and my favorite calzone is broccoli and bacon. I would never order that as a pizza but broccoli and ricotta are great together.

It's basically a pizza turnover. All the Pizza ingredients are stuffed in a shell made of dough.
