Fans, rejoice! At the "One Punch Man Fall Festival" on Sunday the staff and cast of the first season announced that One Punch Man is, to no one's surprise, getting a second season.
At this time no additional details are known.
Fans will have to be happy with the six additional episodes of One Punch Man that are included with the Japanese BDs/DVDs, and the OVA yet to be released with the manga’s tenth volume in December.

As the long-lost illegitimate son of Chuck Norris once again returns for yet another 12 episodes of pure testosterone, fans are speculating as to the obvious question:

Saitama is to mankind what Atlas is to the world. I think it's safe to say that he's the embodiment of everything that every true male wants to be, and then some. He showers in the tears of his enemies. He only eats at 'family restaurants' because he wants to support local business. He once got up on a podium to say "Help make anime great again", and Donald Trump was forced to retire from his presidential campaign, feeling that he was entirely insufficient.
Rumor has it that he alone even has the complete Dragonball Z series on Laser Disc.
I'm excited for the next season. I'm sure we'll all be more inspired to fight crime, eat epic amounts of meat, spit greatness, and pee glory.

Although I saw this coming since the first season was popular its still kind of surprising for a Madhouse anime to get a sequel, since they rarely seem to do them.

Madhouse makes sequels to anime on very rare occasions, but I'm not surprised either on why they shouldn't make a sequel to the ever epic story of the Caped Baldy. I'll be waiting for it.

Manga after the 1st season is pretty lack luster compare to mob psycho 100. I recalled the green hair girl design strucked me as bit weird or bad clothing style?!

Apparently they'll show the first episode pretty soon and then we'll have to wait for like a year to watch the rest of the season. I think I read "Winter 2020" somewhere.
