Yeah I hate that feeling... I get it after every awesome title. Good anime is hard to come by imo :(

I shall now list those anime which instilled that feeling within me: Hikaru no Go, SnK, Monogatari series, many more I can't think of right now.

Happens every once in a while, when i find an anime i really love i can get a bit obsessed. Last time was after watching ''Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka'', i was more or less depressed for a few days after it ended. Since there were no more eps i rewatched it 3 times within 2 weeks and for the first time i read a manga aswell hehe. Good to know that im not alone :)

Yes, the worst was a weekend marathon of 4 seasons of anime. There is nothing else like it, so I started over again, the whole marathon. I did this a second time the next month, leading me to create anime rules for myself, including not rewinding all the best parts of an episode, one marathon per month or longer, etc. You lose the various impact of the scenes and so you will no longer enjoy them as you once had anyway, so it is good.

I'm in that state right now. I just finished Pandora Hearts, then read the manga to the end, which left me with this exact sensation. But there's no good anime except for Noragami this season :'(

I relate the feeling to a friend who is visiting from afar. You want the moments you spend together to last. However...you know it will have to end at some time.

Everytime I finished watching anime I'm searching on what will happen next because it was really a great cliffhanger, so I ended up reading manga.. So at this time, I'm too out-dated on the new upcoming movie or series..

I'm like Dudette, I'm very picky about the amime I watch. But there are ones that stand out more than others, Herioc Age, Sekirei, Dance in the Vampire Bund, Pandora Hearts, to name a few. I just have to go back and rewatch them from time to time.

I can totally relate to this. I experience this every time I finish a good anime. I freeze in my place and look at all the anime in my watchlist, repeatedly skimming over the pages as I decide on what to watch.

I completely hate that feeling, over the years of watching anime it just keeps getting harder and harder to find decent series to watch.
If I really like an anime I'll read the manga afterwords if there is one and it continues past where the series stopped.
Otherwise I'm stuck with that crappy feeling of looking through anime listings and reviews and realizing most of what looks good are series I've already seen at some point.

That has happened to me so many times @[email protected] When I first started getting into anime, I made a giant list of all the ones that I found that sounded the most amazing. There were a few that literally made me take a break from anime for a few days just so I could still be living in that world in my head for a while they were sooooo good. I would have to force myself into a new one xD

Yes, definitly felt it. Its not a good feeling. Feels like your lost and cant find your mommy haha..

When this happends I just go to the anime list and pick out random stuff to see if its any good or review the Otaku News for new anime. If all that fails, I watch stuff again like SAO or DBZ never gets old haha.

This also happened to me quite a lot especially when I was trying to binge and marathon Gintama, when I finished watching all the seasons it left me wanting more but there were no announcement for a new season at that time so I was just wait for at least 2 months not watching any other anime because I just really wanna continue and finish the story, at that time I didn't want to read the source material since I like the voice and sound tracks in the anime.
