I really prefer short anime. because I can do a marathon on it. but long anime also has pros since the characters develop as time goes on, which is very interesting

Long on going animes are usually more interesting, because they need to be popular to get many episodes. That alone, says a lot of the anime.

Long ongoing anime because they get more time to develop the story and characters which usually makes them more interesting.

i choose a long going anime. Especially when you fall in love with the characters and the story line, why would you want it to end hehe :)

I'm really surprised to see so many fans of long going anime. I find that there is an art in telling a good story in a shorter amount of episodes. A perfect example is "Terror in Resonance" with only 11 episodes it tells a well rounded story and it ends.... Yes it ends. Like everything in life. Now that's not to say I'm not a fan of some long running shows. I'm currently watching Gintama which I find hilarious. When I was younger I also loved DBZ, but for the most part I stick to shorter anime. Also Its worth mentioning that there is a big difference between a cliche and a trope, a good story uses more tropes than cliches, some people confuse the two.

I like long ongoing anime's. I hate it when an anime is good, and just when I get interested in it it ends.

    2 things people hate most...
A short anime that has an incomplete ending...
A long anime with a lot of fillers and very slow progress in story...

    Between the 2...
I would choose the second one as the first leads to frustration and despair...

It depends on the time, If I only have limited time then I'd prefer the short anime series's but I mostly like long anime series's due to the fact that you will know more of the story and how each character's develop every episode.

Depends on the context of the anime. I based my judgement at the plot of an anime and probably the character development [if needed].
