Synopsis
* The first anime film based on Mitsuda Takuya's Major baseball manga, about a young pitcher who aspires to follow in his father's footsteps into the major leagues.
Gorou briefly returns to Japan after a triumphant campaign in the US. He is heading towards Fukuoka where he played baseball when he was a fifth grader. Having just moved into a new town after leaving Mifune and his friends at the Dolphins, this is where Gorou faced a critical point in his life.
Major: Yuujou no Winning Shot once more returns to Gorou's youth and tells the story of what happened between the first and second season of the TV series.
