Do your parents watch anime?

my 64yro grandfather was waching flame of recca with me and he always saying that cartoons will never send you to collage...
and i said that, dont worry grandpa im not watching cartoons that is an anime....

my parents don't want the animes that were made from year 2000-present... but they still watch dragon ball series, lupin, doraemon, hmmm anything else that belongs to that era.

And also they love tom and jerry, and looney tunes

My mom does :-D Well, she's not an Anime lover but she loves to watch Romance Anime like Clannad, Kimi Ni Todoke and Romeo & Juliet.

I remember my dad brought a dvd entitled,"Laputa" He sure loved it. Other than that. He doesn't like to watch anime at all.

My dad watches shows like Cowboy Bebop from time to time and has picked up a few dvds while my mom only watches a few select movies.

Not at all, They don't dislike me watching anime, but it's not like they support it either. I know my cousin in China is really into. I went into his room and it's stuffed full of posters, figurines, games, and DVDs. He's awesome.

Also, my teacher assistant likes watching anime and reading manga, although not what I watch. He watched stuff like Dragon Ball Z, Inuyasha, and Naruto.

My mom usually watches hana yori dango with me. (she said it's a very interesting story and she's into romance category..)
and my Dad just tried to peek what gintama is all about.. and yeah. he liked it because he said he can relate to gintoki. (and I don't even know why he can relate to him.. -_-)

My dad watches any anime available at home regardless of the genre but he particularly likes the Gundam series.

both my parents never watch anime. for them anime is simply just for kids and they both totally against me and my brother watching them.
its more like they hate anime with passion.

My parent, like most adults in their late 40's assume that anything animated is nothing but a cartoon for youngsters. I've tried to get them to watch something with a more mature plot, but trying too hard to get someone to do somethign they've no interest in is just silly.
