I don't understand how Brook became stronger since all he's done was sing in concerts!?!?!?! whatevers.........., Ussop and Chopper surprised me because they didn't even scream in fear or cower the whole time... that was a great change. No one in the crew is chicken anymore.
everything in this chapter was amazing... from Sanji's 'Hell memories' to Zoro's hardcore-ness (he didn't even get a single scratch) from that octopus guy despite the fact that all of Hodes captains ate tons of those steroid pills.. :P

That last page really made me jump in amazement. If Jimbei joins then the strawhats gaining a Shichibukai as a member will leave the Marines and other pirates in awe... hehe
What'll suck is if Jimbei declines the offer in the next chapter then leaves us in disappointment after reading this chapter. i really hope that isn't the case because Jimbei will be a kickazz addition to the crew. Whatever happens next better be something NICE..

Hello everyone. For some reason, i don't think Jimbei will join.

But i do have a feeling that 'weakhoshi' will join the crew since she seems to need protection.

Also, i don't feel like the crew fought a very strong opponent yet. They look overwhelming but no one looks to be of an admirals level. It kind of felt like this arc was just stalling for time while revealing the nature of the secret weapons.

it seem the the whole VOID century was based around the whole super weapons bit cause the only assumption i came up with is that the government was trying to hide an entire time frame of information concerning the super weapon. looks like these so called "weapons" may really hold the power to change the world or ODA is yanking our chain

Wow declaration of war.. This fight is gonna be interesting. Straw hat crew vs New Fishmen Crew was a mismatch. NO one was even wounded from the Straw Hats. Well except for Luffy but is was from Noa's Arc. Anyways i cant wait for the next chapter.!

I agree with you Kimnoa about The Straw Hat Crew vs. The New Fishman Crew was a mismatch. I thought at least somebody would get injured by those steroid-pill-popping fishmen. Maybe Nami, Robin, or Ussop, but not even them. I mean really, come on they are not all super human, well except for Frankie, but he is more of a cyeborge though than a human. It kinda gives the impression that the Straw Hats are invincible, which they are not and that is why I shock my head discust after reading the fight at the end.

Maybe that was to emphasize
that the Crew have really

Making it look like they're back to the way
they were before coming to the New World.

It does seem like One Piece will never end.
I mean, there are so much more characters, powers, fights
and mysteries yet to be revealed.
Will I live to see it all through to the end? *being dramatic (I hope so.)

Agreed, I'm currently keeping up to date with 8 different manga, and One Piece is definitely the one i look forward to the most, far more than Naruto which just seems to be too long winded.

Though a couple things that surprised me was Luffy losing to CC. Even if he did recklessly inhale lots of poison gas, and also who is this new guy (forgot his name already). When he hit law was it his DF power or was it armament haki? Curious.

Has anyone noticed the recent lack of movement of the story line. One piece is enjoyable, but it sometimes feels like the story drags. How many chapters just to reach the grand line and new world?

I get your opinion but i think naruto is more interesting right now. It's filling us in on missing details. One piece usually just moves on and ignores the missing details (the whole itachi, konoha and sharingan tribe story). Trying to remember the last time one piece had a part which properly filled us in on missing details rather than starting a new story.

Currently there are four war lords, Luffy has somehow declared war with one of them. And then suddenly that is swept aside for a side show on this island. And has everyone stopped wondering Luffy's family history or what the D means?

They cannot just go straight where "Big Mom" and start a fight that would be ridiculous, since luffy is not strong enough to fight one of the four emperors. Even the three of the 11 supernova want to form an alliance because they are afraid of the four emperors.
