Earlier this week, Sega had officially released the fifth entry in the Project Diva series, entitled 「Hatsune Miku -Project DIVA- ƒ」. The new Playstation Vita rhythm game offers loads of new features and added refinements for an even better gameplay experience.

NicoNico Douja user Ariel was kind enough to share with us his perfect run of the game on Extreme mode. (Unfortunately the Vita doesn’t allow for any form of video output, so the footage had to be recorded from a handycam.)

“Hyakka Ryouran: Samurai Girls” – 2nd TV Season Announced

According to the obi strip found on the 12th volume of Suzuki Akira’s (author) and Niθ’s (illustrator) original novel series, a second TV anime season of 「Hyakka Ryouran: Samurai Girls」 has been green-lit for production. The first season aired on September 4th, 2010 and consisted of 12 episodes.

“Hyperdimension Neptunia” – RPG to Anime Adaptation

According to this week’s issue of Dengeki Playstation magazine, an anime adaptation of Compile Heart’s RPG series, 「Hyperdimension Neptunia」, has been green-lit for production. No further details are available at this time.


The third installment in the game series, entitled 「Neptunia V」, will be released on August 30th in Japan.

The manga adaptation, which is serialized in the online manga site Famitsu Comic Clear, first made its debut on November 12th, 2010. It is illustrated by Bamyuuda Saimaru.

*Synopsis:

A parallel world protected by four goddesses, who are engaged in a war with one another in Celestia. Meanwhile on the human world, mankind wages war with monsters unleashed by a being named Arfoire. The tome, Histoire, contains the knowledge of the past necessary to end both wars and shape the future. What fate awaits Neptune in the present? The goddesses’ battle for Gamindustri, the console war.

seriously?!?! a hyperdimension neptunia anime??!?!? it'll be nice seeing neptune(goddess form), vert, noire and blanc getting animated.. I hope the story would be as ridiculous as the game is.. it's bad but really interesting if you look at a different angle

Happy to hear there is a second season of samurai girls. the first season was okay, but the ending really left me itching for more episodes. plus neptunia anime is good news. shame that no miku game has been released out of japan though.
