Suggestions:
The following suggestions are backed up with reasons that I hope the Admin (Jim) would understand.
Keep in mind of the following few things before I start the suggestions
A) The server is small – growing and dying at the same time
B) Most people on the servers are ranger (Sniper), GX (Assassin Cross), and Sura (Champions)
C) There is a reason that those 3 are the top class
Ex. Assassins (Emp Breaker)
Ranger (Trapper and MvPer)
Sura (Best Mvper and WoE quick movement + best dmg)
Let the suggestions begin:
1) Change the ASPD formula – I don’t think Jim knows anything about ASPD, but when it comes to ASPD Rangers (snipers), and especially Assassins need them the most.
Why?
Simple – We auto attack – Sniper auto attack to do the most consistent DMG and to Lock MVP, while assassins need ASPD on duel dagger to break.
By making it IMPOSSIBLE (besides from getting buff + donation item) to get to 192 ASPD, I do not know what the Admin is trying to achieve.
By nerfing ASPD formula the Admins have complete fail to realize that they INDIRECTLY made other class stronger than the class that got nerfed, due to the fact that IF we were equal at first (which we wasn’t) now we just lost our equal ground.
Duo dagger has been used to break Emp ever since JRO, why the hell would you nerf what was made to be like that? Now WITH donations and above average items and potions, we get. 189 ASPD - WHICH IS SLOWER THAN BEFORE THE LAST CHANGE OF ASPD. (I had 190 before the change with duo dagger)
What’s worse is the fact that for some ****ing UNKNOWN reason the GM decided to nerf ASPD for 1 more freaking time – For no good reason – and now – duo dagger is stupid.
2) Discard Wise Women – change it so there ISNT a chance to lose both items
Simple reason – SO WE DON’T LOSE OUR MVP CARD – FASPDKMASPLASKLDASIOA:SDASL – Honestly, who the hell added the 3% chance of breaking both? – sigh – most random shit ever – playing 4 years of JRO I never failed to get at least 1 item back (Cards or item) im guessing it’s a custom thing – CHANGE IT FOR GOD SAKE
3) Nerf the class that actually needs nerfing
A) Champ – Asura DMG equation change to overall 75% of the dmg (this is done many times in a lot of mid to high rate server) and nerf body relocation.
- Asura on MvP for 999.999k <- No nerf? What the hell is the admin thinking and doing?
- 1 hit kill MOST class without GR and berries to do it again (A.K.A one man team) ESPECIALLY WHEN RANGERS AND ASSASSINS ARE FORCED TO ****ING BE GLASS CANNONS DUE TO THAT FREAKING ASPD NERF.
- Body relocation with no delay????? And usable in woe? (It was supposed to have a 2 sec delay on it) A lot of high rate server just disabled it for WoE (the only ones I remembered usable was Cart boost and High Jump)
B) Assassins – EDP should not stack with soul link for obvious reasons, with this said – soul linker cannot soul link assassins in town during woe to harass them – need to disable assassin link in pront, but can link everywhere else.
C) Mages are forced to wear Orleans's Gown because they won’t have instant cast even with those OVER POWER AS **** BETA RING. – change it to 180 dex – no jokes it benefits all class – makes woe a lot better and easier for everyone.
The current 190 dex for instant cast requires 2x beta rings with 4 zerom cards and donations.
4) Make the map outside the guild castle PvP maps during woe, and no 3rd job skill allowed. (obvious reasons – many camp at lvl one in the castle with class 3 buff – especially paladins – to **** people over)
5) Get the freaking website up and running (not the control panel)
6) Get more than 1 admin –it’s pointless to have to wait for 3~5 days to see them, so they can fix those bugs.
7) Beta ring OP – make a nerf version of it as a quest so we can be even = =, honestly ( SO MUCH FOR BALANCING THE PLAYERS)
ex – do u know how much more dmg is asura when they have 2x beta rings and 4x mantis cards? It’s insane.
8) EMP – NERF – FFS
What is your god damn point of buffing emps so decent assasins can break it in 2 min and 12 sec with 190 aspd?
It is stupid as hell – back then in JRO I alone can take down a emp with duo daggers in 30 sec. and that was 1x1x1x with SHIT ITEMS
I don’t understand the reasons of nerfing assassins by SOOOOOOO MUCH?
First – EMP BUFF – we r ****ing useless alone
second – aspd Nerf – we r even more ****ing useless
Third – More aspd nerf – FFS
If anything – WOE SHOULD FOCUS MORE ON DEF – on a lvl 255 server (Avalon RO) it takes me 2.5 sec to break the emp, and 34 sec with decent equipment (no ice pick)

And that’s how it should be – fast pace defending and attacking – that’s why the last 1 min is the best. Not stay in town for last 2 min because you know you have the castle. Not ****ing 2 min and 14 sec.
9) Endurance on MvP – really?
When all the good card hard boss are done by around 8 champs. Sure – make it harder for other mvp class and favor 1 class pl0x.
10) Traps cant stack together? – what the hell is the point of other traps other than snare trap if you cant put 2 shockwaves on the same cell? Seriously?
and for your info - champions can body relocate into us asura us and then all the traps are gone.
Yes - Body relocate doesnt get effected by traps.
11) WOE times – I'm disappoint that they messed up the WOE times – why not just all castle available for 2 days in 1 week so weak guilds such as Orbs, sentinel and other starting guild can have a ****ing chance – it also stops the leading guild (valk and hentai) leaders to get the god items so easily.
Whatever you guys are doing now is not concerning the west side player like myself (Canada) which is -5 GMT, and this is one of the reason why the server is dying.
Take all these suggestions from a guy who played RO for 9 years of his life.
Also - i seriously hope that this forum can grow in terms of OSRO - so jim bishop and alex can actually know what is going on.
