According to Gigazine, MBS chief producer Takeda Seiji revealed news of a 「Star Driver: Kagayaki no Takuto」 film project at the recent Anime Business Forum +2012 event.
Seiji Takeda, the chief producer for anime projects at the television station MBS, said at the "Anime Business Forum+ 2012" event at Tokyo's Digital Hollywood University on Monday that plans for a film version of the Star Driver television anime series are in the works.
The story of Bones' original 25-episode television anime series is set on a verdant island called Southern Cross, where a boy named Takuto Tsunashi arrives one night by swimming ashore. He enrolls in the island's high school academy, which happens to conceal a secret — about 20 giant humanoid machines underground.
“Pretty Rhythm” – Second Season Announced
According to the official website, a second TV season of the Pretty Rhythm anime series has been announced. It is entitled, 「Pretty Rhythm: Dear My Future」, and will premiere April 7th. The story is set 3 years after the events of the first season. A new Korean idol unit made of 5 members will appear as the rival group.
“Smile Precure!” – Latest Trailer
The final episode of Suite Precure featured a teaser in the end for the upcoming ninth installment in the Precure franchise — 「Smile Precure!」. You can check out the video below.
The new series is slated to begin February 5th on TV Asahi (8:30 JST).
