The official website for the Sora no Otoshimono anime franchise has begun streaming a promotional video which confirms what was announced earlier this week in the March issue of Kadokawa's Monthly Shonen Ace magazine: there will be a third season of the popular anime.
To date the franchise has spawned two anime seasons, a feature film, a light novel written Rin Kozaki with illustrations by Suu Minazuki, and a video game. All of the properties adapt Suu Minazuki's original manga of the same name. Thirteen volumes of the manga have been published to date. Sora no Otoshimono's story follows a boy whose life is turned upside down when an angel suddenly falls from the skies.
At this time no additional details are known about the third season of Sora no Otoshimono.

Aloha Higa's "Shirokuma Café" to Receive Anime Adaptation

Monthly Flowers, a women's magazine under the Shogakukan imprint, has announced that an anime adaptation of Aloha Higa's Shirokuma Café manga is in the works and will debut in April. The March issue of Monthly Flowers hits Japanese shelves on January 28th.
Higa launched the manga in Monthly Flowers in 2006 as her first published work. The third volume of the manga was published in 2010 by Shogakukan.
The story of Shirokuma Café, which is considered a gag comedy, follows the daily life of a polar bear who runs a cafe. Three of his most reliable, noteworthy patrons are a panda, a koala, and a penguin.
