Which Do You Like Better: XBox 360 (or) Playstation 3?

Both have pros and cons its really a matter of taste but i made this little pro con table to give you the general idea.

PS3

-Pros-
Better hardware = Better graphics (depending on the game as well ofc)
More exclusive games. (games not available on other platforms)
Free Online play
Runs Bluray discs

-Cons-
No dedicated servers (one of the players are the hosts in basically every game except the MMO's)
Higher Price than Xbox 360
Less secure online experience (referring to all the succeeded attempts at hacking its system)


Xbox 360


-Pros-
more games available than PS3
Dedicated Servers
Easy communication with windows PC (streaming movies, data storage etc)
Kinect if you enjoy the whole motion gaming thing

-Cons-
Subscription fee for online gaming
A tad outdated hardware = Not as crisp graphics as on PS3
You will be able too find allot of your games on PC as well (not sure if its a con? Depends on how you feel about that)

Too you fellas saying "You can hack PS3 and skip paying for the games" That is possible for Xbox 360 as well. There is 2 reasons people do not do this to frequent on either of the consoles.
1) You loose the warranty which means if the console breaks: sucks too be you.
2) You get banned from online playing which sorta kills both of the consoles IMO even though i do enjoy SP-Games.


I'm a Xbox 360 owner but i have no intentions of bashing PS3. For me it was the price and the fact that my friends use Xbox. Its always more fun to play with friends right? ;)

Both Xbox360 and the PS3 are good but when alot of your friends are all on one system you pick that one over the other. So for me it would be Xbox360.

I'd say PS3 coz it's the PlayStation I grew up with.

Though I hate it when people compare these two great consoles with each other. We have own personal preferences. :D

xbox 360 for sure!!!!! better controller, more games, alot easier to make friends then on ps3

I have both ps3 and xbox. I'd have to agree with most of the posts about ps3, that it has better graphics and gameplay, but the xbox is way better for it's online play. I go on the xbox regally to speak to my friends that don't have Skype and I also enjoy playing cod with them :)

No it's true look at consoles sold xbox 360 sold alot more LOL and they charge for online and people still rather buy that then PS3 i love it

I like PS3 more cause i don't have to waste money for online play. Today's economy is really bad so i can't afford that

if you are going to go off of stats I say either! Xbox came out first, then ps3 made improvements and upped the cost, allowing Microsoft to improve on those improvements at a cheaper price, the xbox does have more sales than the ps3 does

I'd go the both Xbox 360 and Ps3, I owned xbox but sometimes Ps3 came in handy so it's best have both of them

I think Xbox 360 is better than PS3 because u can do more on xbox

Ps3 for the win.

Reason:
1. Free Internet.
2. Blue Ray.
3. More additional games to access for only Ps3. (Like "The last of us")
4. Can be portable.
5. Was Release before xbox.
6. Etc...

Xbox has a bigger community and the online is a tiny little bit better, but you are paying monthly for it.

PS3 is cool and has some nice exclusives and the online is freeeeeeeeee

also you can play some old ps1 games from the store.

I personaly use my PC for AAA games (big named games) but i am still saving up for a PS3 for there exclusive games. i have had a Xbox 360 and I do prefer there controller. So i would say PS3 for the larger amount of eastern games available. but its your preference on games.

Haha watch out about some of these pro/con listings. wheter the servers are dedicated or notis dependent on the game publisher. Proof is that Call of Duty is most definitely not a dedicated server on my brother's Xbox...
also, I would not agree that xbox has mostly childrens games

but regardless I do prefer the PS3.
Xboxs do tend to have more hardware issues, not to mention eating discs.
Which controller is more comfortable depends on which you're used to
If your friends use xbox then thats the best choice for multiplayer(keep in mind the cost of membership since you cant get online without it)
otherwise PS3 is best
