Kinda late to post, I think...
All I can say is that you go deep within simplicity
    your poetry is inspiring ^_^

You can write it as fast as you want; by time, I was thinking about my professors who have their poetry published and just how long they say it took them to revise these poems... sheesh! But, I guess it's a question of priorities, too? I'm like that with drawing and singing. I think, aww, I wish I could do that. All I need to do is practice consistently, but I just don't. It's not that it's impossible, though, it's just, due to my own quirks, improbable.

that's pretty much why it's impossible for me though, I can't take my time at all

Qualtz, that's what I always used to say. So I started observing day-to-day details and tried describing them. I'd notice that a ray of light that pierces through closed blinds isn't savage but gentle, and I'd feel calm just looking at the soft glow. If you keep doing that, you can do it. Poetry is self-expression with the best word choices (and you can take all the time you need to get it right).

SO, no envying :) You can do it, too!

mm, my imagination lacks creativity to make my own poetry so I kinda envy you

    Thanks, Kingsgea :)

Qualtz, nope (too much visual structure for that, I think), just another thing I wrote to wake up my brain haha.

Wow- I'm gone for a day, and I have nice people commenting nice things! Thanks everyone :) Maybe I should write at 2am more often lol.

MzeapP- yes :) I like to write stories. Every once in a while I dabble with poetry and nonfiction.

Qualtz- That'd be cool... I think I like the idea of this being a spoken word poem though :)

    eminALover- Thank you!

Have you ever heard of spoken word or poetry slams? It's poetry that's best spoken and heard. This is the first time I've ever written anything that resembles it. It'd be really cool, though, if I accidentally wrote a song!

musikalles, thanks for the message (I'm sorry it took so long for me to reply)! It's very nice to meet you, too. I'm very much a lurker on this site, but I really like the people I've met on the blogs :)

It's ok that the true meaning can't be found. Once I release it out into the world, anything can be thought of it. Meaning for me may be different for someone else. The power and complexity of word choice is vast :)

Qualtz, yes, description is VERY helpful in essays :) I find slowing down a specific thought will help with describing it (like when I stared at the blinds and the light's glow in the room, I fought with my mind to capture the right idea before writing it down), or when I'm having trouble grasping what to write, I free write, and then I fix all the words and descriptions afterwards. Super helpful!

crazyneo, thank you :D I wanted to keep it short. I'm so very busy!
