Oh I wont do that >.> , I barely use my FB. And I dont want people to know what Im doing.
LOL Matt well it can be a tool too actually, it depends on how you see facebook. Some things can be useful and some can not, it depends on how you use it ;)
@ Kobo Yes I see your point :) Oddly enough, I don't actually have a facebook account and never will XD ^_______^
That is also a valid point Matt, however I was stressing more on how facebook can actually help you login through other websites easily with the click of a button (login via facebook) and at the same time create risks of potentially harming your information. Immagine if someone were to get hold of your facebook account and see that most of the websites you go to are logged in via fb, take prezi.com for example, its a neat presentation tool, a replacement for powerpoint if you will. What if you use prezi professionally? and most of your presentations were there? People would be able to take stuff you made and name it their own right?
@ Kobo Hmm. Yes, I understand that it can be risky because using the same username and password for multiple accounts can make it easy for companies and government agencies to track you. When you use your same username and password on multiple sites. It acts like a "ping" or a "homing becan for other websites and agencies to track you. Not only does this affects the sites you visit but it sets up personal information that the websites can use to entice you such as beauty products, add coupons for products that you requently shop online for, gaming adds, "spam e-mail" adds, and even "they" can get your IP address without you even knowing it. So the rule of thumb is * To always change your username and password "fequently" so it would be harder to track and go on your sites that you normally visit in a 'speradic" type manner and fashion. * Again to make it harder for "them" to track "you". Nice topic Kobo. I hope my response to this can help you out and others that visit this thread and help them out in the future when surfing the web :D Your fellow OS Member and Friend, PolPunisher ( Matt )
