It is suppose to be, they actually released a patch because the Japanese audience found it too difficult. So they made an "easier" mode.

The ESRB rating of M is 17+, not 18+. Yes, there is a significant difference, namely the fact that 18+ or AO games are basically never sold in American stores for some stupid reason.

Got the special edition earlier today :D Im very impressed with the release they put together for it :3 It Comes in a pizza box, and comes with a T-shirt, boxers, a pillow case, an art book, AND the soundtrack for the game. For only 20 USD more thats a pretty nice special edition. Anyway onto the gameplay: Very integrating story, fun platforming/puzzle levels (albeit quite difficult at some parts), and from the brief bit i have played the story seems to be quite deep and a truly innovative game experiance. Early rating id give it a 9.5/10

I just got it a couple nights ago. I'm no good at the puzzle platforming, but its fun. If anything, it shows you how awesome Persona 5 is going to be.

Haha yea the graphics are pretty good. The amount of animated cutscenes in the game is quite epic too :3 Ive got over 22 hours logged in it atm, and ive seen over an hour of actual animated cut scenes aside from the 3d rendered ones lol. If P5 has a high production value then its gona be a very amazing game. Much like Catherine is lol. *goes back to grinding all the endings*

of course it's gonna be epic the developers said they wanted to feel out what the next gen is capable of with Catherine in order to create the perfect persona. i love that game.

This game is so boss! I'm almost done with it, but man is it like Super difficult. Once you get used to the controls and techniques you learn throughout the game, it becomes less guesswork, and even more of a challenge each stage. Stages get hard and harder, especially boss stages, which literally made me want to throw my PS3 through the TV screen lol. But yeah, it has a lot of good RP elements, and surprisingly, it's not as generic or cliche as I thought it would be, which is always a plus. There's a trial mode that you can play, so I guess you can have even more fun [or frustration] after you've beaten the game on all difficulty modes.

I really like this game. The story is interesting and the puzzles are not as easy as they look. Took me forever to get past some of the levels but it still is a fun and challenging game. I give it a 9 out of 10 :D

The game is just fine in english...It would have been nice to have a japanese option. but dont let that stop you. If you want japanese so badly you can always import the japanese version for ps3 since it region free.

I bought it back in july and enjoyed it lots ^_^

The basic plot is that--
You should Google "Zero Punctuation Catherine" and watch that review, or find my review. Any review i post is under the title "Red Pyramid Thing Reviews" and shouldn't be hard to find.

But in less snide notes, Catherine is about a man with a stable, boring life named Vincent who has absolutely no aspirations in life. He has a stable but controlling girlfriend named Katherine, and just as she's pressuring him to show more commitment he gets seduced by a young, free spirited and off her tits insane Mami Tomoe look-alike named Catherine, all of this being spiced by the odd nightmare where every night he has to climb a tower of blocks or die. There is a subtext about monogamy and trying to decide if you prefer freedom or stability, but really you don't answer the in game questions honestly because you need to be all good or all bastard to get a good ending.
