Prologue: Half-Japanese Half-American Boy
It was amazing, that's all I could say, when I saw her and the magnificent Violin they look like close friends. I could only laugh at myself for thinking that it was impossible for someone to be friends with an instrument but now I realize it can be your greatest friend who can sing what your heart is wishing. It all started when I was in High School in Japan.
"Keith." Called a male's voice. "Keith!"
A 16 year old half japanese half american blonde haired boy looked sideways to see who it was who called him. "Motoharu? What do you want?" He asked his friend coldly.
"Keith are you asleep or something? Did you stayed up all night studying?" His friend named Motoharu Shibuya a black haired boy, teased him.
He glared at his friend. "What do you want?" He asked again ignoring his friend's tease.
"Didn't you hear the school bell signaling lunch break?" Motoharu asked grinning.
He didn't answer, he stood up and picked up his book then walked out of the classroom.
"Wait up!" Motoharu ran towards him.
"I'm going to skip lunch today and go to the library, so don't bother following me." With that he left the classroom.
Motoharu sighed. "He never changes..." He looked behind him. "I don't understand why you look up to him, Mizu-chan."
"Stop calling me Mizu-chan, Shibuya-kun!" Shouted a brown haired girl. "Call me Mizuhara not Mizu-chan!" Ayami Mizuhara, age 16.
"Alright, alright..." Motoharu sighed. "Oh by the way what's that?" He asked pointing on a instrument case.
"This?" She held up the instrument case. "This is a Violin."
"Violin? Cool you play that instrument?"
"Just now, my family has a rule that once a member of our family turns 16 he or she must pick an instrument to play."
"I see, so you choose the Violin, Mizuhara."
Ayami nodded. "Well then I'll go to the rooftop to practice. See you." With that she left.
Keith Takahashi walked down the hallways, he hated walking in the hallways because girls are always looking at him. He sighed and walked faster. It's been 5 years since he moved to Japan, his parents: A Japanese father and an American mother, left him in his aunt and uncle's care because of work. They promised him that they will come back by the time he finished High School.
People in Japan call him 'bishounen' a word which meant pretty boy because of that he became a target of confessions and love letters. This annoyed him, so he has no choice but to be cold towards everybody.
He stood before the library door and opened it. Just when I thought I can have some quiet time to read a book. With a sigh he closed the door and decided to go to the rooftop. The library was full of girls waiting for him.
He went to the rooftop but before he opened the door, he heard a sound. What is that? He opened the door and his new life started.
