I wonder if the "renewed airing" will be something like what they did with Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

If it is, I can't wait! The original first season was good but it was a bit off topic a lot of the time. Hopefully they can improve it in this re-airing and lead up to an even more fantastic second season.

If it sucks, I'm going to be very disappointed... As in, running in circles disappointed... No, punching babies disappointed...no, more like kitten killing disappointed...

Man It was really disappointing when they said that they were gonna show the second season and then doing a rerun of the first season last time.

the new season should be something new. maybe something like the novels where kyon gets to go back in time a few times ^^ or when haruhi gave kyon valentines chocolates or when they were stuck in an endless summer. the new student council president > who is actually part of koizumis organization. the incident of aliens infecting dogs... maybe well finally know what kyons name actually is... or not ...

im just waiting for volume 15 of the light novels... damn they delayed it...

I was just about to make a thread asking if/when/what Haruhi Suzumiya season 2 would be. I just finished watching the first series. If the first ep is out, does anyone know where i could stream it? and what is the title of the second season?

Well as i can see at the first Episode.. they are revealing what are the reasons behind the secrets of the Past and some confusing lines and parts at the first season that made you think "hhhhmmmm...." for sometime or made your head tilt at some point. for example when Kyon tried to talk to haruhi for the first time haruhi said "Did i met you before?" , the real reason why haruhi come to North high and why Yuki introduced her self to kyon as a alien at sometime of meeting kyon.... well if my Hypothesis are wrong pls correct me and pls give more details on the first episode. i can predict they will do the same process they did the Random arrangement of Episodes. or something like that.

True, I noticed that too in the first season I was like "why would these three non-normal humans introduce themselves to Kyon?" Now I know why Yuki introduced herself to Kyon in an instant, and why Haruhi came to North High.
It was kinda funny when I knew that Kyon is 'half of the reason' why Haruhi began believing in aliens, time travelers and espers.

well you thats only the 1st. kyon visits nagato's place again this time with the big asahina ^^ that was in order to travel in time again to fix a bug on nagato where she actually caused the disappearance of suzumiya haruhi only that she didnt disappear, and the nagato of that time was actually just a shy bookworm, asahina was a normal student, koizumi and haruhi went to a different school. nagato actually changed everything that happened in the last year leaving only kyons memory unchanged. thus leading him to travel back in time to tanabata of 3 years ago. he actually saw himself sleeping on asahina's lap. when they other kyon left with the sleeping asahina to meet haruhi in order to write the message on the school grounds, he went to ask help from the big asahina san who was just talking to the other kyon, where they go to nagato's place to ask for help to fix the nagato who changed the world in the current kyons time ^^

It was aired on Japan, they re-aired the season 1 in order then they aired season 2.

oh i c. btw. if you mean in chronological order its 11,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,12,13,14
i streamed mine in kyons order 1,3,5,10,13,14,4,7,6,8,12,11,9.
but ive read the novels so it didnt really matter since i know what happens at which month or season (its better that way since it was a little jumbled up there too).
