A tutorial on how to use OS Radio would be nice.

Can we choose the Anime songs we want to hear?
Do you still need anime songs?
Can we upload our anime songs?

so wait... this radio... when one song plays... everyone else (if they decide to listen) will also hear the same song? there should be a request list in order then >.< (like keichi radio?)

1. No, the radio plays random songs inside its library. [But you can request an anime song you want to here] (under developement)
2. Yes, we nid lots of anime songs.
3. at the moment. no... but will be available soon [under development].

Yep everyone else hears the same song. there will be a request list [under development]. and for the library. yep the list will be viewed in "Request section".

i got a couple o.o/ this raises my eyebrow but not as it is x.x

1: can other "libraries" or "guest" libraries be streamed.. (meaning automatically it will play 1 library, but ppl with big enuf collections can host a "DJ event" with their library or reconnect listeners to a diff channel kinda thing.)

2: in the case that 1, is not possible once available will this radio host songs other than "from anime"?(theres so much anime-intros i can personally take >_>..)

3: put right next to "Listen" or somewhere very near by, a different colored link to the OS chatroom.. (as much as i try to be involved with the site.. i amazingly missed the chat tab at the top for the longest time.. im sure others miss it too D:)

i think i got a couple more but.. id b for after wut u say about these 3 o.o

im not sure if i understand what you mean. just tell me if my answer is way off.. heah

1. the libraries are the files[mp3s] that have been uploaded to the host. so guest libraries are not possible. we cant allow guest to upload mp3 files on host coz we cant check every mp3 that the guest have uploaded. for that we will have chosen members who will be allowed to upload their mp3s.

2. Admins/Mods/DJs can customize the playlist.. like add/remove songs. before playing.

3. yep im goin to place a link before "CHAT" word on navigation bar. when beta testing is over..

I don't know...it seems a bit redundant to advertise OS on OS Radio.

BTW: I love it so far, I've been listening to the OS radio for hours now. Shame shame*

can we use our own design radio? without using winamp or anything like that.
Whenever you click the link our own design radio will pop up with Otakus logo of course.
Then in the left side of the radio theirs genre's that we can click; we want to listen.
hmmm it just an idea....I'm not sure if someone get what i was trying to say lol....

also the DJ idea is good... so we can send greetings and stuff like some radio station.. just a short 1-2mins audio...hmm maybe every 4-6hours? XD

1st. when u download the song into itunes player or etc when the song is over, do it go to the next song or do we have to re download into player ??

The tittles didn't show with windows media player.. So I'm downloading winamp :)

Btw I know you have 3000 songs :O, but will it be possible to request songs to be added to the library in case you are missing a few?

yes. its possible to request songs to be added to the library..
and if you have the certain song you want to request. all you have to do is upload it on the host/megaupload. [for MU] den send us the link. i know the process would be slow in that kind of way .. but ill find something to make it fast and easier.

ummm is there a way to stream continuous or reduce buffer coz it buffer when opening some websites....

edit:
also suggest that put in a pop up window or small window so that the song keeps on playing without interrupting whenever you change the webpage

just like having the list of AMVs and let the users choose on what to listen its more comfortable if we can upload more songs prior to the other already being posted so that those who doesn't have good internet connection can still access and listen to the songs <<

You know when you're searching for a new anime to watch in the streaming index? Would it be possible if we chose a genre say:romance, and then the page will only display anime with the genre romance in it?

It's similar to the search engine in FF.net if you didn't get what I was saying.

News update for our radio. Our host ran away, literally. No where to be found. I guess it was a scam or something. Anyway, considering the cost of the current video host upkeep, its going to be hard to add a radio host. But if we see an opening of opportunity, rest assured that we are going to take it to bring the OS radio back.

Thank you for your suggestions and support. Reopening this thread when the radio is back. :(
