Do you love singing? Do you like your Favourite Anime Opening Song or Ending Song? Then why not try singing them and Apply for OS IDOL.

With many Delays, We now Present you OS Idol 2011.
Join OS Idol 2011!
A once a year Event.

How to Apply for OS Idol:

When your uploading your recorded song, you should put the title as "Title of the Song - Otaku-Streamers Idol Event" and in the description you should put Your Otaku-Streamers User and which Anime or Vocaloid song is that.
an example of this is: " World End Dancehall - Otaku-Streamers Idol Event ", " Otaku-Streamers: BloodyAngel, Music = Vocaloid [Hatsune Miku & Megurine Luka] ".
After you uploaded your Video to any Video Websites, email them to " alex54@hotmail.co.jp " with the Title " Entry for OS Idol " and just put the Youtube Links or any Video Websites, and also add your Otaku-Streamers User ID.

Rules of OS Idol:

Anyone can participate in this event.

All Entries must have a Karaoke Background. (Off-Vocal Videos)

Your Song should atleast from an Anime or Vocaloid or Touhou.

Only 1 Entry Song per user.

Make sure your Voice is clearly heard and not the singers.

You should sing atleast 2 or 3 minutes from your song, any entries with less than 2 minutes of singing time will be disqualified.

You can have a Duet with your friend.

You can Sing the song in English or Japanese. But make sure that the song is from an Anime or Vocaloid or Touhou.

You can also Sing the song in your own style. Change it to Rap or Hip-Hop or maybe Rock type.

Contestants will submit a recorded song in a link format, which means you will need to upload it on Youtube or any other music player on the Internet.
You will send the Link to " alex54@hotmail.co.jp "
Download Links is not allowed.


How are we going to judge your entry:

Judges will review contestants entries from 1 to 5 based on the following:
Song selection: How challenging the song is. Does it fit your voice?
Technique: How well do use your voice as your own instrument. Falsettos, vibrato, intonation and all of that!
Interpretation: The feeling and emotions you add to the song.

Who will be Judging your Entry:

BloodyAngel will be judging your Entry song and once BloodyAngel chosen the winners, they will move to the Preliminaries.

During the Preliminaries, BloodyAngel and AnimeYuio will be judging your recorded song. After BloodyAngel chosen the people who's going to the next round, BloodyAngel will be spliting them into Groups which is Group A, Group B and Group J.
Group A which is Avich is judging your recorded song while Group B is Bindu1000 and Group J is Jbluey. Once they have chosen their 5 winners, they will PM me those Winners and the Links, and they will be put into the Semi-Finals.

In the Semi Finals, The People of Otaku-Streamers will now have the chance to VOTE their favourite song. The Voting will only last for 2 day.

The Top 5 Voted Song will move to the Finals and The people of Otaku-Streamers will choose their Winner as well as the judges.

It just sucks that it has to be an opening/closing song. Most of those titles are Japanese and sung in wacked-out kigh or low keys. I would love to join because i love singing, and i know im not terrible. To all those who say you'll lose 100%; dont keep knocking yourself until you try. Even if you still conclude you suck, theres nothing wrong with loving to sing. Well... theres still until june 22nd, maybe i'll suck it up and memorize some japanese. ....oh the glorious hours of memorization... ;D Peace.

I thought about that too, submitting more than one. But since te rules only discuss your single "entry", it'd be best to just assume one per customer, ya know? Rather than have them both thrown out or something. Of you find out otherwise please let me know, because then we can go to town! Haha!

Just start out with your single favorite song choice and record multiple versions, then come back fresh the next day to pick which one is actually the best. And submit that. That's my recommendation to you :)
