Anybody interested in doing a small exhibition matches. Of course we'll need a decent amount. You can keep track of your own record as well. I'll use my profile to update scores and such! Like the idea? 2v2 game Only middle. Mode would be AROM. Are you up for it?! This is random mode. Not easy. I don't mind newbies joining in as well. They could pull something interesting in the game. They could also learn. The format would be a 2v2 game. If you want we can arrange a full house. Allowing anybody from the outside as well. You can invite your friends and have fun! Nothing serious!

I have a question about this.

If we are to arrange DotA matches, then where do we play. Is it on garena or on battle.NET?
If there are possibilities, can a live LAN game be played? Like, talking about a place to meet and then play somewhere? (if they have the same country)

If it's just for fun, we should consider the normal game modes, or at least have a game with just AP?

The potential problem here is latency. Example, US <--> Philippines have an average latency of 250ms and the comfortable latency would around 1-150ms.

In my opinion, Garena would be the most convenient.

Also meeting up with local OS to play is a good idea, posting replays here for others to view would be great ;) Maybe in the near future there would be a team that would represent OS ;p

Then, can we call it a tournament then? Avich-sama?

Having teams of 3 to 5? or events for 2 v 2 or 1 v 1?
The rules then varies according to the number of players.

Well I can play through both, either B-net or Garena is fine. What Avich said, ping will be a problem, but there are always ways to keep the teams to a minimum to avoid lags. Anyways there are actually no need for tournaments. Friendly matches are fine. We can have a maximum of 2 observers if we were to have a game. Anybody post up replays and share it here. That would be awesome! It can arouse everybody's interest and possibly make this website even more popular!! haha.

You can download warcraft through torrent. Try searching it up on mininova. Its a torrent site. There are 2 sets of games you have to download: Reign of Chaos and Frozen of Throne(both are warcraft for those people who doesn't know warcraft. After that you can look up Garena and download that program. Then you're done. The way to connect to play in their games is through LAN, not battle net. So when you open warcraft, click on something in relation to Lan. haha I forgot what its called. Anyways good luck with that one.

Hmmm intercontinental dota matches are not recommended. latency is a killer. I mean even in WoW i get high latency. How much more War3

I live in Canada and I actually played with Filipinos(obviously on the Philippines). We kept it to a minimum of 4:4 and it did not lag. That's the reason why we can play despite the distance. We can also keep it to a minimum rather than full house.

It sounds like fun, we just need someone with a killer connection to host the game

Well depends on all the parties though. If the host sucks then..... the game will suck.

I can host, but latency is random. Most likely its great. I can host for people if they can't host. I'll just spectate. We can always do a run test before we make a match official. Lots of great possibilities! Lots of fun! haha!

Ye Hamachi is a very good option, I've used it severeal times before, it also means that everybody can join since you aren't required to have a orginal CD when using Hamachi...

But in order to try it out we should decide on a test date and time :)

Yeah we have to decide and use GMT time since you know. Different time zones and all that jazz.
