Final Fantasy 7 was my first RPG ever x_x and its the most greatest at its time. I really don't remember how many times I replayed that game, just because I found out some unique stuff later in the game >.< (ex. finding the hidden characters near the end of the game... or the White Choco ^_^...)

To be honest, I should have picked Tactics cause thats also another Fav... I probably played the same amount of time like I did on FF7, or even more. I don't know if you guys played the game or not... but I love to steal the enemys equipment(No! not to see them naked) but to steal the rare stuff they have ^_____^ or later comes out with game progression

7 my personal favorite (and ive gone as far as buy 2 cd's for it, the old one was pirated) even in gaming show polls (ive seen a few) it wins by a long shot.

And by the way people may think 10 is the only game with a sequel. but 7 also has the Dirge of Cerberus (also have this) and a movie to boot.

By far the greatest final fantasy title ever. What may have caught everyones attention was it was the 1st of the series for characters to have fully rendered polygons (not 3d in a way) instead of 2d sprites.

i never really liked FF CC since it has to be played by multiplayer in order to truly appreciate the game.... i dont see many people with gameboy advance on where i live...
we do like to try the new game final fantasy ring of fates.....

we live in just a simple town where people dont have much gadgets...
i started playing finalfantasy 7 up to latest and my all time fav would be ff7

hironobu sakaguchi (director and producer of ff 1-9)always make you smile with his titles... however he stopped creating finalfantasy games since ffx arrived... that is why some games no longer have the same spirit as it was before... i heard he is busy on his theater instead.

i would be interested in that new final fantasy 13 ... giving the main char is like cloud strife except he is a she

My vote goes to FF3, FF7 was great and it is the best, but my fave is FF3 because i played it 200+ hours. FF7 never truly caught my attention, but i'm still waiting for that remake on the ps3.

I'd say that ff7 was the start in the sense that it really became a landmark. And even though it's 12 years old now, the game is still worth playing because of a good story and good gameplay.. That said I think I liked ff8 more, at the time the graphics were phenomal and it really sucked you right in to an extent that I at least had not tried before

Currently replaying ff7 ^^ guess i'll have to get a hold of the japaneese retail version of ff13 no way i can wait another year for them to finish converting it to xbox and dobbing it..

FF Tactics hands down. Not only did it have an absolutely amazing and moving story, solid characters, the game itself was programmed well for its time, art was great compared to some of the others. While FF7 may take the cake for the most badass villain of all time(Oh god im not gay but when I played dissidia and realized I could play as sephrioth half naked and wielding a Masamune I almost burst my zipper); that can't really match up to what really amounted to a great game that spawned several other prequels and side story's all of which. While not amazing are quite enjoyable in their own right, make a great history and picture of a nation.

I think i speak for most, if not all of us when i say VII is the best, and is closely followed by X. Generally, it seems whatever your first final fantasy game is, tends to be your favourite, especially if it is VII or X.

I voted Final Fantasy Tactics, 1st Final Fantasy I ever played and the reason why I got hooked to Final Fantasy games...
