Here's a suggestion you might really be interested in that I will gladly help you with if its approved! To sort anime series in another column that indicates new, popularity, and hits of the series. "All" button would sort the whole list in alphabetical order.

The hits would be the general anime, not the individual videos.

I like it too. A "New" and "Popular" sorting would a nice addition (rather than just sorting by genre like others suggested).
