i already ate scorpions, starfish, crickets, larva, its actually a street food in china, i hate the starfish though because it smells bad,
how about rose petals as a salad, yeah, i already ate that one in philippines and also a sizzling fire ants
i also heard that bats and janitor fish could be eaten, eww growse much

Now that is weird..
So far I haven't eat anything you can define as "weird".

Well the weirdest foods I've eaten is balut (chicken egg that's about to hatch, I guess), dugo (I think this is pig's blood), chicken liver and chicken feet XD they are mostly street foods here in the Philippines. XD

From what I know, it's unfertilized duck egg.

Its not really weird. I eat a lot of Cuban cuisine, but I live in America. So when my friends see my eating fried banana, or banana chips they think its weird.

Balut-duck embryo- is yummy. Its kinda like abortion for ducks XD The weirdest one I've tasted were Korean foods, especially the one that looked like beaten-egg-pizza that is red in color.o.o I forgot the name though. xD The first time I've tasted them seemed weird, but then I eventually liked it.

And oh, I almost forgot, my baby poo. :3 Back in the days where I was filled with innocence and curiosity.

Well The weirdest food that i ever Ate is The Balut (An egg that has an embryo inside) Paklay(Compose of Internal organs of a pig) tina.e or Intestine(roasted Intestine) and the last, The food that I don't Wanna eat it again is Roasted Pig Brain while wrapped in banana leaves....

This made me laugh!

I think when I was kid I ate a dog biscuit which is pretty funny to think about now. Currently I've tried some new things like

Pigs feet (slimy and not my favorite)
Crickets (surprisingly good!)
Ants (not bad, little bitter)
Blood sausage (pretty tasty)

Pretty tame compared to some. Not sure if it counts but I did try the cinnamon challenge.:woohehe:

Hot dogs. I've always had a big hard-on for irony, and something about that sausage made from the fat and intestines of pigs and cows (Or nothing but cow if you have money to burn, or nothing but turkey if you're ****ed in the head or have no sense of taste) being popular in a culture where most people flip out and go "Ew" at the mere mention of blood sausage just makes me laugh so hard at those stupid morons. Hey, you're fine with eating muscle tissue and sausages with casing made from the colon, how is that preferable to the blood or kidneys?

I could also make an argument for some of the fast food i've had over the years. Chicken from KFC or McDonalds could very well have become a detached species from the fowls of the world, and yet people seem fine with the hormonally challenged freak birds. Mind you McDonald's old policy of using stewing hens (Chickens too old to lay eggs) was an interesting one... nowadays chickens would technically be at the broiler/fryer stage at time of slaughter if they weren't, as i said, freak birds. Silent Hill monsters be damned, go to a KFC chicken hatchery and you'll see horrors. And Arby's. Don't get me wrong, i like many other 20 somethings would sacrifice a high-born virgin for a bucket of curly fries, and i'd thrown in a lamb for cheese sauce, but being the son of a deli owner, i am quite familiar with the fillers that go into the Arby's roast beef. It would give me pause for thought if my alternative was something other than McDonalds. Mine is a town in dire need of a White Castle or a Chipotles. Also while it's not so exotic to most, i ate at Pizza Hut before despite knowing it's health inspection rating. You could take that out of context and consider me legitimately suicidal if you knew where i lived and which precinct to call.

but if you want strange try fried pig skins ... they sell them like chips ... i have had them ... but i was young and did not know what i was eating .... the strange part is i remember it as being good...

also a few things that are served in my part of the world that are strange but i have not tried... rocky Mountain oysters... menutho(sp... cow brain)... o yah one i have tried and love ... i just try not to think about what is in it.... Choriso.

My dad told me when he was a kid, and they would make a pig roast he would always try to get the pig tail. You ever have that?
