over a year ago. i cried a lot at a guy that only loved me as a friend. i thought awhile what we were mutually doing will result to a beautiful relationship. we kissed in front of common friends, we flirt, we f***, but its only until there. i later knew that he has a girl prior to me that he met in face book. he fell in loved with this 17 year old, high school girl. and the irony of it, I'm a 3rd year college student taking bachelor of medical laboratory science(medical technology) and the girl is in her high school, senior year. I'm also right beside him and the girl is a thousand miles away from him. i can't accept it to myself that he rejected me, he chose that girl over me. starting that very moment he never talked to me, he deleted my in face book, he doesn't communicate so on and so forth. i tried my very best to win him back even if i looked like shit begging for his love, it didn't work. now after what he did i became a bitch(byotch). i promise to myself that the next boys that will enter my life will be a mess. i played with guys, i don't stick in long relationship. i f*** with them, then leave them as they are. I've fallen in love before. Spent a lot of time with her then had my heart broken. Took a long time after till I was better then when I fell in love again it happened yet again. I feel the second time hurt more then the first both times I wanted to die and everything seemed so horrible but I don't regret anything since I was open with how I felt. Both women were cool and amazing but didn't feel the same way as I did. The latter one I am still really good friends with and I value that friendship. So....

I'd have to say I love love. I love the feeling of it and everything, even the heartbreak. I'm a romantic so I don't let past failed love keep me down. Sometimes things are just not meant to be.

It's both bitter and sweet. You trying to make guys to your "TOYS" makes you no better than that guy. Sure that guys is a jerk for not seeing how much love you try to give him but... Lets be honest... Your a fool not learning to let go and forget... Base from what your saying you never had let go of your past. Love is love. It's not all roses and spring. To say that you hate is like saying you really don't know how to love. For me I would say I love love. Because I know that I can get hurt with it or I can hurt another person with it. That simple thought gives me a reason to be more responsible for having such an emotion... Teaching me to become a better person... True I also experience the hate and tragedy love has to offer but with all of this I also experience the joy and the ability to stand-up again and move on... I have been in love with the same person for over 4 years now and I have to say that I hate loving love. If that makes any sense. I love being with him and I wouldn't have it any other way but since we've grown up together (we got together at 14 and we're 19 now) it has made things a lot harder than if we had just gotten together at say, 19. I have a lot of health problems but I have found that heartbreak really does hurt more than all of my problems combined. When you lose the person that you love, you feel like all hope is lost and it's hard to find the motivation to get up and do the things you normally do. My boyfriend and I break up a lot due to problems in our relationship but we always get together, I find that this is more hurtful than helpful. We've been together for about 6 months straight again now and our last break up really did help but all the other times, it has been awful. It's hard for me to go anywhere that we went together, look at his picture, or even his name. And while that sounds really childish, it's really awful at the same time because most of my life revolves and has revolved around this person. It took me a long time to love due to complications with my parents and I'm glad that I have had the experiences even if it is super painful.
I don't like people who are together after a few weeks though and claim to be "in love" that is not love. In order to love someone you have to go through hardships with them because if you can only be together when good things are happening, you shouldn't be with them at all.

This would be quite a difficult question for me to answer. But here goes:

I view love at many different angles, or phases rather. My first perspective is Infatuation. Infatuation occurs when you meet someone and you get all sorts of ideas and you become bewildered by that person's beauty, intellect, origin etc.. This is what I call the "Love at first site phase [different for different people I suppose]". This is probably the most prominent in what people feel, and where probably the most romantic thoughts come from.

Now, there is a certain step in which we must take, a very important step. To approach, or not to approach the person. We all fear of being rejected by someone you... "Would-like-to-love" so to speak. The truth is, we can never fully understand what the person really is like on the inside. Some of us are fortunate to find the perfect person; And many of us are rather surprised or unfortunate. The best way to find out is to spend time with someone for a long time. This is why I do not believe in love at first sight.

This other phase I like to call "In Love". This is a feeling you get when you've been with this person for a long time and are ready to make all sorts of things happen. But when we are In Love, we have a tendency to do things we either never thought we'd do or say things that seem almost unlike ourselves. Problem is, if we are not careful, we can easily be manipulated or trapped. Those who have ever broken up with someone, knows how this feels.

But the question is, whether I hate love or love it. Truth is, I believe that love in general is a wonderful emotion, and when it is strong, many things can become more possible. Like raising children, having fun, going out etc.. So yes, I love love, but I hate all of the bad things it can do to us.
