Hi guys and gals. Time to put those thinking caps on and remember all the way back to the "less stressful" days. This threads all about the first anime you ever watched, oooooor if you can't really remember, what anime series or movie did you see that got you really interested into the anime world?

For me personally, my first anime, and the one that got me interested into other anime's, was "Dragon Ball Z". Now, I don't watch it anymore, not really my taste, but as a kid, man I lived on that stuff xD anyways, It's always good to look back on the past and see how much you've changed, why not do it in a way that relates to OS ^.^

LOL I never really thought of DBZ and Ghost Fighter and Voltes V as anime when I first watched them so I wouldn't say it was the reason why I started liking anime...I think it would begin from when I watched Digimon tamers...thats the first time I found out that anime and cartoons were different...although that time I didn't actively seek anime...it was around highschool when I started looking for anime that wasn't really shown on tv...

Kabamaru was the first and like you I wached mostly Dragonball on TV and after that it was One Piece that dragged me into all of this

I grew up with DBZ as well. That anime will always be a legend in my book.

Yea, I do agree about DBZ. I guess if I think back, the first anime I watched that got me into anime, and that I knew was anime at the time, would be "Rurouni Kenshin". I watched it when I was around 10 or 11 years old, probably too young to watch at the time, oh well, kids will be kids xD
