My parents could care less, in fact, my dad likes hellsing unlimited and black lagoon. My friends don't care but they dont watch anime. Aquiantances? Not really sure why I would talk about anime with an aquiantance. To me, acquiantance is someone that you only have small talk about neutral things that anyone would at least have some knowledge so I dont bring up anime to those type of people.

For my parents, as long as I don't forget to pay attention to my studies they are ok with it, but sometimes they get angry when I stay up late, but mostly they think of it as a reward for getting good grades. I sometimes talk to them about anime but they don't really get it or just nod, lol at least when the story is funny or the scene I show it to them and they laugh as well, wish we can have anime bondings but some animes are should not be watched with parents, they will know your fetishes or likes lol and some when they see it, they might not let you watch anime again due to content and language lol. :D

For my friends, even though my friends aren't really in to anime or don't know much, I still tell them the stories about it or at least the plot, they would laugh at the plots or sometimes my reaction to them, they even found me as weird when I told them I cried because of an anime, (which was Clannad), but basically when I meet them during lunch and shut up, they would tell me "why are you quiet? don't you have anime/dota stories for us? it's not like you to not tell a story" lol good friends, even if they don't get what I'm saying or talking about in dota or anime they still listen. :D

My parents...Are anime classic lovers like Voltron, Voltes 5, and the first Gundam franchise. I remembered when I let my mom watch Naruto Shipudden she kept screaming and telling Sakura to fight Sasori ^_^

Well the friends I usually hang out with either watched anime during their childhood and wouldn't care less I still watched anime now, still watches anime, or don't watch anime but won't have any comments towards it. My parents on the other hand, think it's childish and that I should grow up already. If only they understood that a lot of animes have a deeper meaning. :c

Most of my friends like anime since a lot of anime was broadcast regularly when we were younger (i.e. Pokémon, DBZ, G Gundam, etc.), and that influence has stayed with us. As far as parents go, my mom only watched Mach Go Go Go (Speed Racer) when she was a child, so she doesn't really care about it now.

Some of my frnds also like anime, so I think for them its cool and fun:) (specially when you talk about some anime stuffs during breaks at school). They're happy cause for them another person can be talked about anime and wouldn't get bored easilyXDXD

My mom doesn't actually know what anime was O_o there was a time she asked me what anime was anyway that I am so addicted to it. At first she thought anime was actually a series(the anime word itself) it kinda made me lol XD. Well they support my hobbies as long as I give them what they want(grades lol). As for my siblings they're more into western things so they just know anime comes from japan....

Acquaintances and close friends: I've got mixed friends...some who don't like anime and some who are more obsessed otaku than me XD more or less I could say no one I know hates anime but there are those who don't really like it...or rather is indifferent about it..

well as long i can keep up with my study and manage my time very well,
my parents would not say anything about my love to anime.
at some time, they will support me.
they will scold me if watch it too much, as they are concern about my well being and also my health.

My parents do not know what is anime. They just know that anime is just like cartoons. WTH..... I sometime explain it to them but they cannot understand my point of view. They support me as long as I will follow some rules and fulfill my tasks in school.

Some of my friends also watching animes and some are not. At the first time they know that I am watching this kind of stuff they are shock at first because they figured out I am the kind of guy that will not watch animes. Some also tease me because of watching animes but now they are also watching it.

My mother loves anime and is the main influence of why I watch it. I grew up with it since she loves it so much, and recently she went on vacation so I made her an account on OS and now she won't leave her computer. My other siblings watch anime but not as much as me though. My boyfriend is always watching anime, he is also a member on OS.. It's cute when he gets all wrapped up in it like me and gets emotional. XD My friends all love anime and we watch it together a lot and always talk about it.

My older sister likes anime but not so much because she says she doesn't have time to watch because of her studies, but if she really was an otaku then she would have had time. my oldest sister doesn't watch anime and because I'm learning japanese, she helps me find websites and such. And she bought me a book of how to draw manga, so she supports me. I have a couple of otaku friends but none of them love it as much as I do, so it's hard to talk to them because they are only interested in some types of manga/anime. well, that's it for me.

Well as for me:
Mom- She's usually cool with it,but sometimes comments on how anime girls wear skimpy or sexually provocative attire. Really,when she said she wanted to become a fan of anime,I honestly didn't believe her.
Dad- Much more cool with it. He doesn't know jack about anime,but what the heck. He buys me figurines everytime he goes on a business trip to the Philippines or China.
Friends- Ah,friends. The buddies,otomodachi,they are my loyal comrades. Brothers and sisters in arms,fighting for all things anime! I am a member of my school's anime/manga club,and i'm tasked with drawing posters and stuff. We all just love anime,I guess.

Most of my friends are actually my fellow otakus. :)))))) I get to talk to them a whole lot about animes and mangas. But my parents are different. I've been making them buy anime cd's for me for 3 years now. And manga for half a year. But it is only this month that they noticed that I'm an otaku. O.o So they don't care about that at all.

My mom wouldn't be able to tell the difference between anime and Killzone 3, my dad might have a conditioned hatred of it since i dragged him to the Pokemon movies when i was a kid, and my sister is too busy with Twilight to form an intelligent opinion on anything not featuring sparkling vampires or a writer who wasn't lobotomized.
...well i guess i could always show her Naruto and keep her in her comfort zone of worthless hack writers, but being in her presence causes me too much agony. As for my friends, they all have their favorites, including one who is as much of an Azumanga nut as i am and as hot for Yomi as i am; she's also pretty keen on BioShock so she also has good taste in games.

My parents don't care about anime. But my mom really likes about Kdrama but I don't know about my dad. The only anime he likes is Voltes 5. Some of my friends really like anime so most of the time we talk about anime when we're bored or no topic to discuss with.
