Ah WoW, yeah was also on it for a while only had a 56 Orc hunter though, fun for a while then it was too much like a job, repetitive tasks to earn 'gold' to buy things inside a game that you have to pay a monthly fee for...
If everyone who played WoW worked a minimum wage job instead for the same amount of time, they'd collectively have enough money to buy their own Island call it Azeroth, populate it with weird animals and random chests of treasure, then parachute everyone in with only medieval weaponry (or laser tag guns... whatever) and then go to town for the rest of their natural lives... err, assuming that diets of Jolt cola and Junk food has shortened the natural life span by 50 years of course.
(the figures quoted were pulled completely out of my ass, though they can't be too far off the mark)

Uhm should add this is meant as no offence to people who play MMO's (as I have also played extensively) but just a random rant that escapes whenever I have access to a keyboard and a text box.

I'm playing it but got stuck at level 58 cause I need to buy the expansion of burning crusade and wrath of the lich king then there is this next expansion of cataclysm.

But then I was planning to continuing this game afterwards I am able to buy those expansion.....

I have a lvl 80 unholy death knight (Eiousx)and a lvl 80 holy paladin(Saehlite).
Both my toons are on horde shu'halo server.
I enjoy playing this game because I play it with people I know in real life.
I'm a raid leader for my guild so I am always staying upto date on info on the different instances and stuff.
It is really sad when others treat the game so badly when in reality anything you do if taken out of moderation is
extremely bad for you; ie: fried foods, tv, alchohol. Anything can be bad for you just people tend to exagerate such an issue with WoW because its the new thing.

Ehh, I wouldn't say playing WoW has any contributing factor to being a super otaku, but that's just my opinion. Mostly because so many people who could not even be considered an otaku play it.

But yes, I used to play it. Been clean for a good many months now. It may possibly even be coming up on a year. I just got sick of the elitist atmosphere that was pervasive amid the endgame crowd. Whether it's PvP or PvE, you couldn't do anything without either A: the required gear, or B: the required achievements.

I may play again for awhile when Cataclysm is released, though. A fresh start on a fresh server with new races and experiencing completely new and revamped content with my friends sounds good to me.

My main was a level 80 elemental Shaman. Alliance side. Yep. My main used to be a Dwarf Hunter before they released Wrath of the Lich King. Boy it sure was wrathful, everything I liked about hunters was broken in Wrath. I like the look of hunters in Cataclysm though, so I might play them again at some point.
