Which one will you choose?

As the title said, Which one will you choose? A handsome/beautiful person that is poor or an ugly person that is rich?

Hm, seeing that topic in the news made you curious how OS people will react to that eh?
I choose neither, It's not like there we're only two choices for that situation so I'll pick a normal person who isn't too rich nor too poor.

I would say neither because both can be taken away in an instant or over time. But if I had to pick one I would pick handsome/beautiful person that is poor. Where as money doesn't mean much to me neither does looks. If you truly care for someone that person will be beautiful to you anyway.

Money makes the world go 'round - you can't really do much without it if you plan to live your life by settling down and having children. I wouldn't care if he was ugly; if he were a rich, moral and funny guy, hello. I don't care how he looks. I usually overlook that stuff anyways.

However, wouldn't it be exciting if the handsome, poor guy were adventerous and hopeful? "What if we did this?" or "Let's do this and work hard!" Life would be very adventerous like that - spontaneous & stuff are qualities my dream life. It'd be hard to pick between the two.

But since you didn't specify how each guy acts, I'll have to go with the rich guy - with money, life is a lot easier and I'd like to avoid hardships as much as I can. I'm finished with not having enough money.

I wouldn't think of using those kinds of options if its only regarding the appearance and money. I'd have to take personality and attitude into account for me to even look at a person that way.
Although if I had no choice but to pick one then I'd go with the ugly-rich thing... *Can't live in this world without money correct?!

Snarkiness aside though, there's no question about which man I would choose. It's natural to reach a point in your life when you begin to realize how very little looks actual matter in the grand scheme of things . . . and I'm certainly at that point. I would much rather be married to someone unattractive as long he can provide a comfortable life for myself and our family should we ever decide to build one together. Wanting, desiring, and longing for things that I can never have is no fun, and I've been doing that my entire life. No man, however sexy or attractive, is worth giving up a chance at stability and comfort.

I disagree so i'd choice someone beautiful and poor since aesthetics are all that really matter, and i'm a very shallow person and i don't want to lie to myself or anyone by taking some kind of moral high road and saying i'd marry someone thats unattractive, because i wouldn't. That's unattractive in my eyes, which could differ from other peoples definition of the word. In the end i'd pick looks over money.

How much money they have isn't important to me. What's important to me is their personality. Do I enjoy their company? Do they make me smile? Do they make me happy? Can I see myself with them forever? So many things more than just money that would determine my answer, so for now I'd have to say I choose neither.

Doesn't really matter if she is rich or poor, beautiful or ugly, I believe that we have different ways of viewing other people but even the most ugliest can be the most beautiful in the eyes of true love or if truly love the person. It also depends on whether I like who she is or how you guys put it, her personality. :D Whether I like to be with her and whether I love her really.

For the sake of answering the question, haha go for the beautiful at least she can be a model or an actress and rise out of poverty with her looks. :))

Unless your life was like a drama, then the poor person will turn from rags to riches. If this is reality, then the rich person will just get surgery to change his outward appearance.

Well since this thread is about making a choice out of the 2 i will make a choice instead of coming up with my own ideal. I would choose the ugly guy who's rich....I mean really!!! To begin with if I go with a guy it'll be cause I want a future with him and not matter how good looking he is, a good conversation, or a good laugh is not going to put food on the table or pay the bills...what??!!! do you plan you submit a joke when the bills come, hmph I think not. I would also like to eat what I want, go where I want to and have a comfortable life and a broke guy isn't going to give me those things
