The March issue of Houbunsha's Manga Times Kirara magazine is announcing on Wednesday that kakifly is relaunching his K-ON! comedy manga with a page of new strips with Yui and the other characters this spring. More details will be provided in the next issue of the magazine on March 9.
The four-panel comedy manga follows a group of high school girls who form an afterschool rock band. The manga had ended its first run last September.
Two Teenagers Arrested For Stealing K-ON! Goods From Model School
According to Sankei Newspaper, Wakayama Prefectural Police arrested the culprits of the November 17th 2010 robbery of the old building of Toyosato Elementary School, the model school of K-ON!.
The 17 and 18 year-old boys were arrested for stealing figures, guitars and cash boxes. The investigators said the two boys broke into the exhibition room of K-ON! goods at 1:30 am on November 17th 2010 and stole twenty character figures, three guitars, and two portable safes.
The two boys confessed that they liked K-ON! and wanted the character figures. The 18 year old boy had been previously arrested for an unrelated theft in December and the police found the stolen figures when they searched his house. The two boys are considered to be gangsters of a group of burglars, who have been robbing offices in Wakayama prefecture.
Voice Actress Yuko Miyamura Expects 2nd Child in July
Voice actress Yuko Miyamura revealed at her live concert and in her blog on Friday that she is expecting her second child at the end of July. "Miyamū" noted it has been about seven years since the birth of her first child in 2004. Her morning sickness began at the end of last November.
Miyamura played Asuka in Gainax's Neon Genesis Evangelion anime series and in the second film in the ongoing four-film remake, Evangelion: 2.0 You Can [Not] Advance (Evangelion Shin Gekijōban: Ha). Miyamura is also well-known for voicing Chun-Li in the Street Fighter game series and Kazuha Toyama in the Detective Conan (Case Closed) anime franchise. She appeared in the video that explained the deadly game rules in the live-action Battle Royale film. Her songs have been used for the themes of My-HiME, Wedding Peach, and other series in which she also acted.
