DotA Alternates

Have you guys tried this DotA map? It is made by our co-OS, DoubleZeta.

It's a good Warcraft 3 map and DotA look-alike, boasting around 60 heroes.

This is a really fun game, if you like DotA and wanna try heroes not in Icefrog's map, give it a try! :)

noone plays the map on northrend :( too bad since it would be nice with a more serious alternative to DotA, the narotu vs bleach and one piece vs bleach are just bad knockoffs

I've been monitoring the games on BNET. Azeroth was the server that had the most games of Alternates.

It's just one new hero, fixes on the creep spawns, the start signal, nerfs on SEARINOX, and improvements on Mr. Imbloker.

Oh yeah, re-arranged the taverns on the Scourge side. They're kinda having trouble with the cramped up circles or power.

Marlo's doing the tooltip descriptions and the terrain changes for 2.02.

These heroes bear much of my Alternates gaming style, survivability or swift kills. They are also the heroes most fit to have lothar's edge too. LOL

There are also several heroes that fit with Manta Style. Most of them are AGI types but I can name some STR and INT heroes.

Alternates has several different heroes that make use of some of Allstars not so used items. Desolator is popular in Allstars wherein Alternates... It must be Sword of Hellfire.

IMO, the only one I saw someone use it is you, and one of my opponents(when he saw me create one).

Just a suggestion:
It need hot keys for the NPC's... really needs it (ctrl+number key)
Empty Bottle :3 (empty bottle user here lol)
and cheaper tangos (like 3 for the price of 1)

Arjo uses SoH, Chie uses SoH, Erol said he used it once and loving it. Most people use it on the Thailand based ones and seem to be using it much likely that it almost looks like Axe with 3 stout shields or helms.

@hokeymon: The earlier versions had the complete hotkeys for items. I'll just place them back up again, since I accidentally removed some of them on versions 2.00 above. Thanks for the suggestions too, but I don't think the tango should cost less. It's better than Allstars' tango with 3 charges of low regen, Alternates uses the traditional 2 charge much more powerful ones. XD

Don't worry, vial works the same way as bottle.

It's unfortunate that we don't have an icon for empty bottle...

Although Icefrog nerfed the heal of tango in its bundle of 3. Dunno if Zeta will approve it. ;)

There are lots of hero suggestions. It might take time until they're placed on the game, but before that... I'll have a poll on it to see if the others would agree to the hero.
