Many of us gamers has this so called Double Life....
Some say because of the Stigma...
"If you're into games you must be some weird loner who sits in his mother's basement or something."
And others just want thier own aggression and feelings pour out in the games they are playing.
Whatever the reason is............
Does it justify having a Double Life???

Well, I can't possibly call it a double life. It's part of a persons personality and their life. It's part of their whole and thus I can't call it as double... let's say... it's the other face of the gamer.

Is there such a thing as a Gamer who isn't proud of himself? If that's the case, he shouldn't even call himself as a gamer.

I guess some people wont stand by their addictions or the fact that they are a bit nerdy and hence try to fool the people around them...

Come to think of it guys! Even thought they don't mention it... they're proud of what they can accomplish. You're not a gamer if you don't want to value your pride as a gamer!

You can stand up to everyone saying, "I might not be able to finish the super hard mode for Devil May Cry 3! At least I've already finished some other games you haven't yet!"

Come on, there are no such things as people who completely hate themselves, or hate what they've accomplished.

Hmmm... quite right. Well, we just need to be proud of who we are.

Hey! That someone is degrading us!

How do they know we play in the basement, huh?!? I play in a room but not a basement!

Okay, seriously on topic... It is justifiable. We have a double life - a life that is ours and another belonging to the character of the game. It's what makes gamers interesting...lol

I believe that we must be the character to be better. It's just like in acting out in a play. "You must become what you need to become."

Exactly!

Plus it enables us to experience many things a normal person won't be able to experience, see things and sights, and also learn various cultures. :)
