Crystal Defenders is actually more of a mobile game(iPhone,iTouch,ETC.),but it recently came out for Xbox Live Arcade(this is the one i have), so itll prolly be coming to PS3 sometime soon...but yea its interesting...and as i said earlier...simple yet so addicting @.@ lewl, youtube it, it looks easy,but it gets really tough towards the end!(unless u follow a guide, which ruins the point of the game>.>) lol

all 3 are great games(hell they all are), although there are ppl that would argue that the style change in FFXII ruined it, which i think is wrong! i love that game, it has a great story and is fun, but i would definently recommend finding a way to finish either 7 or 8!

The storyline was far too great for a PS1 game.. Overall, too good to be true ^_^

FF8 however.. I had to stop cause my cousin scratched up the 2nd disc so much.... the cut scenes were laggish and wouldn't even read anymore T_______T *failure*

FF9 was good, almost spent 40&#37; of the time playing cards because of FF8 influences ^_^

That's what happened to me too... and she was about max level and Cloud and the others are just puny little level 50+ characters. It was nearly like hell fighting with low level characters after Aeris died.

That was why I stopped playing FF7 before, I wasted time leveling a character that would just vanish. XD

FF Dissidia isn't all that fun...it's only nice for a while...then it gets repetitive and lacklustre as a fighting game...
What's nice may just be that all your fav characters had been put together...
I'd be looking forward to FFXIII Agito on the PSP...been waiting for so long...Q3 2009 will be great for the PSP... :/

Hmmm, I like FF8 the best, there is a storyline that i find very interesting, the parts with Laguna were always a good laugh like when they got lost during the war. It also had quite a romantic touch and of course, that addicting card game

You wont break the controller on Dissidia, it's not the technical kinda fighting game...i've been playing it since long time ago (Japanese version)...don't remember when...at least more than 3 months already...

I'm a big fan of FF...but dissidia is like a trophy on a rack...just to commemorate a big anniversary...not quite the real thing...but it's good to see those familiar faces fighting alongside and also the mix up of the various tunes from the different FFs...you'll notice the change in music arrangements...cut scenes are slick, especially opening...

Haha...not gonna spoil the fun for those waiting for the translated version...RAWRR! :/

Ugh, I could critique every last game when it comes to Final Fantasy.. don't get me wrong here, I love it myself, but the only huge issue is how people have literally killed it.

FF7, I loved very much, the story was nice.. until people started naming their kids Sephiroth. Give me a flying break!

FFX was nice too, but.. hate to say it, whomever did the acting for Titus.. really sucked.

Let's rewind the clock, shall we?

FF1 for the NES - VERY old school, but you can't help but relive how difficult and fun the battles were, not to mention the death song gave you the creeps.

FF2 for the SNES (FF4 or so I recall it being) - Very interesting story of twin brothers, separated at birth, one born to be bad, one born to be good and all the difficult monsters in between! Eat your heart out on that one, Shakespeare!

FF3/FF6 for the SNES - I crave this game to this very moment! In a sense, I'd go as far as naming my future kids either Gau or Celes. The battles were long, the story, AWESOME!!! And who could ever get enough of Kefka's insanity? (I personally thought his wise cracks at times were funny.)

FF8 - I will admit that Squall was such an emo'er while Seifer.. um.. drama queen much? But the use of magic, such as sucking it out of your enemy, while at the same time you can eat them (though you'd get a very nice image instead of seeing him actually do that..) that was epic and pretty gutsy of Square to try and promote cannibalism.

FF9 - I will say, that dropped my interest meter at the sight of half human/half animal ways.. But the humor was good.

lol. hit it with 7k damage only. Mine is the strongest Materia in FFVII the Knight of the Round Table. Its a materia that summons the "For got how many knights in round table" knights and attack sephirot 1 by 1 and the last one to attack is King Arthur. All of the knights damage 9999, the materia is hard to find coz you have to breed golden Chocobo to reach the island.

well, FF7 will probably always be my favorite, and not for cloud like most people. I could care less about emo-boy, lol. I just love the story and how it unfolds. I also enjoyed how the battle system worked.

Then, FFX-2, the dress-sphere concept was rediculously fun. Only obvious flaw was lack of weapon upgrades etc, but when you can change from singing happily to pulling out a giant sword to hack away in 1 turn... not too much of a flaw XD

MY favourite is FF VII. Not only because of the epic story, or the fight with Sephiroth, but in my case, it was the WEAPONS. Emerald and Ruby weapon are INSANELY hard, in fact, i dont think emerald is possible, even at level 99 to kill without chaining mime and Knights of the Round.... its just RIDICULOUS. Ruby weapons tough too! But i love a good challenge. then again, this is having only played FF I, FF VII, most of FF VIII, and most of FF X. i OWN I, II(GBA dawn of souls one), II(which is really IV), III(which is really VI), VII, VIII, X, X-2(if you can even COUNT this...), and FF XII. One of these days i'll get around to playing them.

i actually got a funny story to tell. when i was in midgard after leaving the chocobo farm you have to cross the swamp where that big snake was in... i didnt get the idea of getting a chocobo and running over it so i trained FKIN long untill i was able to beat that snake...

i was like YEHA

... until directly after that a second one in the swamps spawned because that thing wasnt thought to be defeated at all T_T

then i was like f*ck you!!

until i read a walkthrough and got to know how to evade the snake...
still i was totally overpowered for the next 5 boss fights or something..

Breaking the mold and taking it back to the SNES days, FF6 for sure. Locke and Edgar are comedy gold! That and there's no other villain I love to hate more than Kefka.

But outside of the numbered series, Final Fantasy Tactics is my favorite. Tactics advance fell short due to the ridiculous laws, and while Tactics Advance 2 was much better than TA1, it still wasn't quite as good as Tactics. I guess I like my Tactics games with a more darkish theme.

My first FF was Final Fantasy 6 (which was known as Final Fantasy 3 back then) on the SNES, it was awesome, story was great, lovable characters xD

As far as Im concerned FF7 is the best ever. The storyline was immense. So immersive and well thought out. I fell in love with that game, loved all the characters, was engrossed with how the story unfolded. Was heartbroken when Aeries was taken away from me... I loved the versatility of the game, the freeroam aspect was in a league of its own when it came out. All the side quests and mini games and awesome places to explore just added to its overall epicness! FF8 was also great however not being a fan of the magic draw system really impacted on my overall enjoyment. However I really liked the characters.

The new FF13 was a dissapointment - I havent even managed to finish it, the only things goin fr it are the graphics and the character designs.
