DoubleZeta here with a little question for all you OS gamers!
So, just as the title says... If ever you are given a chance to make your own game, what would it's title be? For what game console? What genre would it be? and tell us something about it.
It's not bad to dream anything, having a concept is cool, but having something come to life is way COOLER.

ooooh hahaha this somehow brings a few memories from last year...had I decided to continue on my current course we would actually be making a game for the thesis[lmao of course since its game design XD]
anyways the game was supposed to have incorporated zombie aspects from l4d but at the same time have some RTS aspects as well although you dont get to control that much units....more or less the platform would be pc and genre would fall to RTS/RPG/Horror thats as much as I could say since I think they will still make the project :)

@kobo: that's very nice, from what school are you. I might've heard of some project like that from some University near manila.
@coldground93: I'd try it man, by the way I'm a fan of Turn based RPGs so this one is must. XD

Title: Gladius Aeterna
Genre: RPG
Console: Pc/xbox
learning system. Characters teach eachother. Character/A teaches Character/B over ___ period of time a certain style of fighting or trait such as vit dex str mnd int luck chr agi etc etc. The rate at which each character can teach depends on that character. same goes for learning. One character may be able to teach but when paired to another character the learning rate drops. Object is to find the best match up between teacher and learner. Teachers can teach more than one but teaching and learning both slow down to a degree. Can only teach while in party during battle. A learner can master a trait and teach others but with a slight handicap as to how much and how fast.
not sure if that makes sense but I explain it better when I talk about it verbally.
I will try to write a better description if this doesn't make sense.

That's quite an interesting system tambulance, it's like teaching other people in real-life. I kinda get the flow of it, something like not all characters can learn from someone or there may be some difficulty with either char A does not like char B so it would not work out stuff? Correct me if I'm wrong.
@topic: I encourage those who are reading the thread to post their suggestions. Don't be shy, no one's gonna eat you here.
