Durarara!!

Loved that anime so much, the character were all just amazing
The fluidity of every action they did was so nice and the fighting was amazing
And the Blonde guy was just BA
main character seemed so ordinary but surprised me when i found out who he really was

Angel Beats for me, though it wins on a very narrow margin. The thing with Angel Beats (and most of KEY's works) is though it may not be overwhelmingly awsome at any given area, it excels in all (and I mean all) areas. That, I think, makes it a good fit for best overall.

urggg -- i want to say Kaichou wa Maid-sama! but i really loved Railgun and i havnt watched but 1 episode of Index II since it's still airing now i'm stuck :(

well time to go watch Index II to see if what to vote for -- I shall be back :)

~ok i finaly chose Kaichou wa Maid-Sama! since even after watching 13 episodes of II and loving it i had more anticipation for Kaichou then i do with II~

Durarara!!! for me this time....good story and plot ,good characterization, nice animation, nice ending...so its the one for me...

angel beats will be a good second for me...

then K-ON!!...

for me it's Angel Beats... in my POV it's unique... a very touching story with a taste of comedy.. unrealistic of course because it's anime yet it can be realistic. Good animation though character design is not the best. And it's a Drama/Comedy/Action anime. if you haven't watch it yet, you miss something back from 2010 animes.

Angel Beats!! love the story [comedy ;))] Comedy is often what gets a lot of rewatchability in many anime series, and Angel Beats! had a pretty decent sense of slapstick. Heck, almost half of it is comedy. xD --- the characters, setting and everything is the best

Angel Beats gets my vote...AB was good overall...had some aspects of romance also had action and it was funny for some eps :3

Though i didn't really get the plot of Angel Beats at first, it was really really interesting and heart warming.
There are many super funny parts too and the characters are KAWAIII :)

Angel Beats was really the best.
It has beautiful music, its funny, good action scenes and drama T_T......
My second choice would have been Durarara!!
Music was good, has one of the best twists I have ever seen and it was hilarious XD

Durarara for me as well, Angel Beats was good had a good concept, but didn't anyone else thought that it had holes in the storyline or that logic of it was thrown off? I think that is why i'm not with all the hype about that series. I also liked haruhi, with all the time travel and all the hints from the first and second season that the events that happened in the movie make it all connect.

best anime overall will be to aru majutsu no index II !!! because well the plot , the effects they put in and also overall its better than any other anime , though i have to say HOTD is another good one

as much as I love Toaru Majutsu no Index/II I don't think it should be included since it's nowhere near done, but I digress.

I personally believe that Durarara!! should win. It had a perfect blend of everything, the music was great and suit the scenes, and the art style is of course (with every anime this year) nice and crisp. It is also based on a great source and followed it very well not ruining the story in almost anyway other than the fact it ended (there's still about 7 novels it didn't go into; for obvious reasons. 26 Episodes)

I'm still hoping for a Durarara!! 2!!. Till than, best anime of 2010. Everything about the anime was high quality and always enjoying to watch, following the great legacy that is Baccano!. The only series that I would think tops it 2010 is Kara no Kyoukai.
