If so post links to your music here, I want to hear them all!

My two man band Aurora Noire (you can find us by searching the band name on Youtube) has been recording or playing out in public for a year now. It's amazing having others appreciate what you put your heart and soul into. We haven't gotten a gig yet due to lack of funding and we just feel we aren't ready to play at a venue lol.

So OS, if you have a band tell me about it and post links I would like to hear your music! This thread is for any genre such as techno, hip hop, rock, etc. Possible collaboration can be done!

Thanks!

I was in a band called Amoeba when I started college but when I got more focused on my major and graduating, and the other members felt like focusing on their own stuff, we just split up. I kept all my lyrics and arrangements though. Homie don't play dat.

Was in a band for 3 years. 4 of us. 2 graduated high school and went to college and the other 2 went to work. I wrote most of the music and a few songs and 1 other guy wrote most of the songs and a little bit of music. As far as I know he still has most of the material. I have or can remember about 50% of what I wrote.

was about to be with a band a month ago but I refused the offer 'cause I'm not confident enough to be a vocalist

we were kind of an eclectic fusion. thats why we picked the name Amoeba. We were mainly influenced by 1960's-1970's rock. Janis Joplin, Jimmy Hendrix, etc and for some reason the lead singer was hella irritating about insisting to add in some reggae flair to it, which I wouldn't have minded if she didn't sound like a stripper on crack instead of an actual singer. I kept noticing the changes she'd make in attempts to sound sultry at moments in the song where you weren't supposed to. So, I pulled my music out. I still remember them saying "okay so... you won't sing and play an instrument, but you're still going to write our songs right?" and yeahhh I said "no".

I don't have a band yet, but some day I'd love to find musicians to play with. You can hear some of my songs here: http://www.myspace.com/keinanlynx/music

They're not very good quality, since it was recorded on my lap top with the freeware program "audacity", and I had to play all of the instruments and lay all the vocal tracks on top of each other by wearing headphones and just playing along hehe.

I love symphonic and progressive metal, and progressive rock- that's the kind of music I'd like to write and sing for a band. Or if I had a computer/recording whiz and wanted to do solo stuff, I'd want to do something like what Imogen Heap does.
