Ai Yazawa ~ Nana Manga Production Query

I've been keeping up to date with the Ai Yazawa situation since it was first mentioned that she was ill, but lately there seems to be a stagnate of how she is, and when things will continue on the Nana Manga.

I was wondering if maybe anyone else has any news or updates on her illness, her recovery, and whether she'll continue to make manga's.

I'm sure many people already know that this AMAZING woman created Paradise Kiss, Nana, Gokinjo Monogatari, and goodness knows how many other stimulating and fun works. People like her helped the anime community flourish and expand it's horizons, so it'd be a shame to see her go from the manga/anime community.

If anyone has any news, please feel free to post it.

I too have been searching for any news on Ai's status and if NANA is ever going to return. The only news that I have heard was sometime in Nov. of 2010 she drew a NANA christmas picture that was posted on cookie. A lot of people were hopeful that it was a sign she was getting back to work but there has yet to be any news releases or other supporting information. At least it is a good sign that she did draw again. I really hope she gets back on her feet soon. She is such a talented artist and writer. It would be a shame if she was unable to continue working.
