It's easy actually. you don't need to find a picture with those exact pixels.
If you have photoshop then take the picture and make it 600x150.
If you don't have photoshop then I'm sure someone can help if you provide the image.

dude... just find a cool looking picture you like and download some fonts from dafont.com. After that you can just crop the picture and whatnot in paint. Of course you can always download photoshop via bittorrent.

Since I do not have software or anything and just last week i figured out how to make an OS signature on paint. If you want to read it i can show you a step by step process on Microsoft paint.
First step; find a picture you would want to have on your sig.
Second step; Copy that image.
Third step; Open paint(if it only shows a little white the at the bottom left of the white there should be a little marker you can grab to pull it down) Paste the image you just copied, onto paint.
Fourth step; Save it, this is very important.
Fifth step; Grab the marker that i told you about earlier and pull it up a little.(You should notice numbers popping up on the bottom right corner of paint. These numbers represent the size of the image. for example: 600x150) Pull it up till the numbers say 600x150 and there is your sig.
If you do not like how it looks just re-open the paint picture you just saved.
Sixth and final step; Since the OS Signiture maker only takes JPEG save your file as one. When you click 'save as" you will have the space to name it, and right under that there should be a "Save as type" click the arrow on it and click
"JPEG (*.jpg*.JPEG*.JPE*.JFIF)"
Then upload your image onto OS signiture maker.
This is how I made mine. A good place to find anime pictures and such is www.TheOtaku.com :D

I use Microsoft Office Picture Manager to crop/resize by 600x150... you can actually see the picture dimension while you crop the picture...
try this one.. there are already available size and also you can customize the size (you need to sign up first!!)

ACTUALLY, that's my very first question when I entered the forum world~!! I mean, I am so much in wonder where do they get those AMAZING signatures of theirs.. BUT since I can't figure it out.. I use Photoshop to make my own signatures..
BASE ON MY EXPERIENCES: XD
I'm not much of help when it comes to linking.. BECAUSE most of the downloadable Photoshops I know is only in TRIAL VERSION -- (meaning, you can only use it for 30 days) -- which gives me pretty hassled, cause after it expired I'll download another one from another site~!! XD
BUT after I became sick of it.. I bought my own Photoshop Installer.. which is pretty cheap here in the Philippines.. XD
PHOTOSHOP, is indeed difficult but if you won't be scared to browse around, you'll get used to it~!! ** I suggest that if you're gonna use photoshop, use the versions CS3 and up.. cause I could say that it is more complete..
OTHER than photoshop, you can use any photo editing software applications or sites as long as you will do it more creatively~!! ** e.g.: gimp or the websites www.paint.net (http://www.paint.net) which Tippeddoor mentioned earlier (I think that is pretty useful~!!) -- AND if you only know how to use MS Paint.. I suggest you follow kurai's suggestion.. and you can also do some additional designs (AS what I've said.. be creative-- THAT's the KEY~!!).. ^___^
BUT if you really need help.. I can make one for you~!! ^___^ Just tell me what design you'd like me to make.. neh?
^___^
THIS IS ONE OF MY WORKS.. I use them in the dollars website~!! Of any sizes.. XD

By the way, I just realize that there is a "Signature Maker" here in OS~!! AND it's under TOOLS. (BAKA me~!! I should have realize that long ago. LOL~!!)
WELL, you can also make you signature there, and it's so easy~!! Just be sure that you're customize photo is in the appropriate size. ^__^

you cant really find an image that is exactly that big....what you can do is to crop the image then resize it....it can be done in adobe photoshop but also in MS paint too....it would be better if the cropped image has a ratio of 4:1 I think in terms of width:height....

I still prefer Photobucket though, its easy for me there, and its also easy for the ones who are also lazy, haha
