people say that k-on will only last 13 episodes but i don't it is true because 1 chapter of a manga is equivalent to 1 episode of anime so the would be a lot of episodes because there is already 22 chapters. right? what do you think?

I don't know, maybe the mange scanlation still hasn't caught up with the actual chapters yet . . .

The first season will probaly be 13 episodes, they generally like to be a bit in front wtih the manga.. and also if the anime dosn't hit they can end it after 13 episodes but i'm guessing that's not the case with K-ON :D

Incorrect... (saber's Voice) not all manga chapter is not is equivalent to one Episode.. if it's 1 chapter per Episode. it must last only for 15-18 minutes. k-on! last 24 minutes. so i think it's not only 1 chapter per Episode

anime like "Honey and Clover" is 3 chapter of manga is equal to One anime Episode. ^_^

It's just like you said.

Most of the stuff in the anime are things which are add in exclusively for the anime to extend the anime episodes. And what I really about K-On is that the additional stuff are really good. :)

The continuation of both the anime and manga is whole based upon the commercial success of the series. Since it is wildly successful, a continuation of the manga and a second TV season are both likely. They have introduced some new elements in the past couple of episodes that I expect to see developed in a second season ... Azusa and Ui playing a guitar. The teacher playing the old Gibson Flying V may also get developed into something ... who knows. After this week, we wait until next year.
