info about the playstation phone had linked out last month..
it seems the vp of marketing of sony computer entertainment is having a lot of problem thinking of what they have to do with the device..
sony is trying to race battle against the sudden boom of smart phones in the markets..
though the design is seemingly alike with psp go.. the functions is more android like with the ability of the gaming console..
they said that the device will be shown next year at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on feburary..
what do you guys think, should they mass produced the gadget or should they throw it in bin?

Hmm...its kinda hard to say...if it can only play the current PSP games I'd say no...it has to be able to play better psp games...something like a psp2 in a way...

I say the phone will appeal to gamers, but everyone else won't want it. That will hinder sales and prevent it taking off.

@kobo-san i agree, its should also be able to play ps3 games aswell.. thought i think that would be to much for a small gadget to handle.. so im still gonna dream of it being able to play ps3 games...

@pikel-san you right.. think maybe it will go to the bin..? :( still its not a bad idea thought to make a phone and a gaming console at the same time..

yes ps3 isnt possible but it still needs a new upgrade game-wise or else no one would bother using it....
one disadvantage of a phone and a console at the same time is if it were stolen then you lose both console and your phone >.<

Lol what? PSP games are actually pretty good though most do suck. Either way, i'll stick with my iphone...

don't really think its a good idea, they should just improve the current psp. i'd be irritating when your playing and someone calls you.

Hahaha true... How about they should make a Playstation Computer :P With mouse and keyboard and play can PS3 GAMES here.. you just need to buy the game and play.

looks like the PSP Go, which failed. The psp has skype for that.

no...I dont think it would go the same way...the Ngage became popular for awhile....with the rate the PSP's popularity in games are decreasing I highly doubt that the ps phone would still click and be popular...

If they'll really make that, I wonder what will happen now? Playstation Phone taking over Playstation Portable. I wonder whats the use of PsP if they'll also make another improved portable one~
