Finally, OS mobile!


I have been contemplating whether to append my newly made random announcement with its cute picture but I think this one deserves its own spotlight :)

It first came to my attention by our fellow member/donator KipiChii(qingbo) (http://otaku-streamers.com/community/member.php?u=4981)sending a wrong message to me that he can finally stream on his iPhone this morning. Found out that the latest SkyFire 3.0 mobile browser can now stream mp4 which means it can stream OS videos.

Now I don't know if this is old news because I don't have an android or iphone but I know that version 3 of skyfire was released very recently (nov 25th) so apology if my news is so yesterday :)

Finally our site is a fully compatible mobile site (even though all we did was wait for technology to adapt to us :D)

I tried using on android with 3G..it takes quite a long time to load though..and if anyone wants to keep track of their data usage, you can use 3G watch dog for andriods xD

Hmmm, I have an android phone and tried skyfire, but it gives a warning about video not optimised for mobile, and there is no sound when running it, and the graphics tend to move faster than normal. Hope it irons out one day XD

Make sure you are using the skyfire browser video player 3.0 and not the flash player for android

I have mine plugged in atm so im not sure how kind this is to your battery

that's because u downloaded the version removed from the app store from installous and that cant stream mp4 online i think... it's not that good i have it too... the new is coming to app store soon..

make sure your using the skyfire's video web player in playing the video. It plays with no sound if the default player is being used.

there is only 2.1 for the iphone, and it should play OS videos just fine
